I'm the only one here. There's a lot of people we know but they're not from our universe and they don't know me. [Which, for her, sucks.]

But don't worry! Rachel's letting me stay with her and the other X-Men at the institute.

He's from some other universe and everyone says he did something bad but they won't tell me what it was and they keep telling me not to talk to him. Except I kind of did anyway and he didn't act bad around me. Even Mrs. Richards is saying he's a bad guy!

I'm not going to do anything stupid, Alex. [More gently:] I promise. I only talked to him because he was talking about Franklin. I told Mrs. Rich- I mean, Sue I wouldn't go near him and I'm not going to.

No. My mun said someone's thinking of bringing him here in a few weeks though. I'm kind of worried about that, with what's happening with his parents.

Well, great, then! Since you're so good at flying, it'll be your job to carry Katie around in the City, when we're out fighting the bad guys!

I think it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to test the extent of your other powers, either. [NO ALEX FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, IT WOULD, IT WOULD BE A BAD IDEA] Katie can tell you, blowing up stuff definitely comes in handy sometimes!

--WHAT no. I mean, I never said I can carry people! I just know I can fly. Carrying people's different!

I don't exactly have all my powers right now, though. Mr Franklin -- uhh, my future self-- uhhhhh, that's never going to make sense, is it? Basically, I had to give my power to someone to fight bad guys. I dunno how much I have left just now to blow up anything.
