lordoftheland: (Not sure if want)

Of all the characters to develop a muse for...

A curious proposition, if a weak one. For what cause should Oberon, Lord of Avalon, agree to reside in the mind of a mortal child? You will give Us a worthwhile reason.

[...]

[Thoughtful hum.]
Indeed, it is true that this realm is a fascinating one. I wish to explore it further. Very well: you have Our permission to post this. You will remember your place and not consider any... homes. [Strange word in this context, but Oberon is Kind and Tolerant of mortals and will indulge this tiny little mun for now.]

Oh my now you two surely make an unlikely pair. How does your player tolerate such a bag of hot air?

[ "Kind and tolerant", his fancy-tunic'd ass. ]

And what does the Lord of Avalon seek in his explorations?

It was for certain not concern which prompted the inquiry, if such troubles thy lord.

[ yes he purposely misunderstood you... per usual ]
just_as_planned: (Ryslig-Don't do that.)

Modest as ever, I see.
just_as_planned: (Ryslig-Trust is a funny thing.)

*Let him go get his battle suit, you might recognize him then. Except he doesn't have that where he is...but he does have some significant yet dormant power that wasn't there before.*

It also has its uses in swaying people to your side. I'm not the gambling type, but if I was, I'd be willing to bet servitude isn't what your mun has in mind.

Many years have passed since I last saw you turn down a game, Lord of All Fey.

A realm where actions have no consequences, where power may be neither gained nor lost. A high price, some might say, for the illusion of freedom.
omniamutantur: (aye; there's the rub)

Indeed. So many minds - and so young - working together to fashion dreams of their own.

It is... comforting, in a way.

Sometimes the minds of mortals can be interesting, Lord. Their short lives necessitate ingenuiety.

It can be seen as an exercise in developing their writing skills. No bard started out with the ability to entertain a crowd. Many mortals who spend their time this way have aspirations of a writing career. Who better to turn to for inspiration than you, Lord?

Then may your mundane choose only the best of games for you. We strongly recommend avoiding games known for occasions known as "crack events". Such events are the sort of foolish trickery that Puck might dream up.
