I miss you and Ven, especially since you've both come and gone.

[Living with Sora, Riku and Kairi isn't helping nor is the whole ten years of being missing. ]

... Oh. Yeah, I know how that is. Sometimes it seems like the places muns send us to are just supposed to punish us or something. Friends showing up, leaving, coming back and not remembering anything, leaving again...

Telling you that you've been somewhere for eleven years when it only felt like days.

Riku's taller than you I think.

... Better to be somewhere for that long than nowhere at all. [But he's yet to be told exactly what happened to her after the battle.]

Taller than me? Nah. I've got a few inches on him. At least... In the city, I do. Maybe he's still growing, though. [He hopes not. The thought of having to look up at his successor is kind of weird. Frown, shrug.]

Mn. I don't really know if the Realm of Darkness counts as a somewhere. [She could tell him a good deal of it if he asked, mind you she's still confused about how in the worlds things got so bad.]

If we count your hair you're taller for surre.

[Have a goofy little pantomime of the spikes with her fingers at her forehead.]

[The Realm of Darkness, huh? He can't help but look down and away for a moment.] It does. Or it should. [Over ten years in the Realm of Darkness is an unimaginably awful fate, but it's still better than if Vanitas had succeeded in destroying her, as Xehanort had ordered him to.]

[He glances up at the gesture only to smirk a little.]

I'd still be taller even if I had different hair.

[Watch as he valiantly tries to prove his point by smoothing down those front few spikes... Only to have them pop right back up when he drops his hand.]

[She doesn't blame you in the least Terra, more Xehanort than anything actually.]

You'll just have to stand back to back so I can judge.

[He actually gets a giggle out of her.]

Yep, it's only fair way to decide.

[Even if no one ever blamed him, he would insist on blaming himself. If only this, if only that.]

Is he one of the people in that house you're going to be leaving?

Yeah, along with Kairi, Kurai, Xion and Mickey as well as a few cats. Sora and Ven had been there too but they left recently.

[It's not a big house either so things can be interesting at mealtimes or rainy days.]

Kurai is what the boy who looks like Riku named himself.

Sounds crowded. Is that why you're moving out?

We've got a boy who looks like Riku in the city, too. He calls himself Joe.

That's part of it, yes. I don't really... know how to connect to them. I know I need to teach them a lot but I don't want to force them in to it either. There's so much they just don't know, and it's my fault.

I should have gone to get Riku and brought him to Master Yen Sid after what happened in the Keyblade Graveyard.

[They can't even turn their keyblades in to gliders Terra, or know that it can.]

...Can Joe summon a keyblade?

[It's an interesting theory, considering Xion can. The nosey is also most welcome; you're her best friend Terra. It's part of the job description.]

I'm sure it's not your fault. [Not much more than a mumble, that. He speaks up again as he goes on.] But I can see how it would be a tough situation. Especially with you being a Master and having those extra duties now. [Oops, wait, lowering his voice again.] I don't have to worry about any of that and even I've had trouble... connecting with them. Especially with Riku.

[Oh, he knows. No gliders, no armor, no shotlock. He's not even sure if any of them know Mega Flare. Poor kids.]

I think so. He's... different, though. He might have the Keyblade, but I can't imagine him ever being a proper Keybearer, much less a Master. I don't get the feeling he really cares about protecting worlds.

[She ducks her head, it's still odd thinking of herself as a Master but she's been slowly coming to terms with it. Having to explain things to people has helped that along.]

He's a bit prickly, but a good person. Just because he might not talk about how he thinks of you doesn't mean he doesn't look up to you. You both have a lot more in common than I do with him.

Maybe you two could go off somewhere together? You could show him some moves or how to make a glider.

[Do boy things, that she has no idea about how to do. It probably involves mud and sticks and getting covered in it.]

There's more in the universe to protect than just worlds, there are the people who live in them or the knowledge they contain. So long as he has the will to try I think he should be encouraged to keep doing so. Just talking to him could help you understand more about who he is.

Look up to me... [He gives a small shake of his head, smiling sadly.]

He can't stand me, truth be told. He blames me for what happened to him. He blames my heart. That and he's just too busy with his life in the city to bother with me... or any of us, it seems like sometimes.

But he is a good person. And the Keyblade suits him. [Awkward neck rub. Pesky conflicted feelings.]

I know... I know there's more than just worlds, but you don't understand. He's really different. He's loud and brash... He does this music disc jockeying thing to earn munny. He's into the parties and these club places. He has a tattoo, Aqua. You can only seen it in a certain light, but I know it's there. [Totally scandalized tone.] I mean, he's a good kid, too, but... So different.

He shouldn't blame you. You're not Master Xehanort.

[As far as being too busy she understands that one. She rarely saw anything of Sora despite living with him.]

Different isn't bad, we all have to do what we need to to survive in these places. He has to assert his individuality from Riku somehow and if that is how he's choosing to do so then it's his choice.

[She's been to a party, once. It was interesting from what she remembers.]

I couldn't stop him. He can blame me for that.

[Tough times.]

I guess so. We do all have our own roads we have to walk. [Even if one of those roads involves tattoos and "totally brutal" music events. He can only imagine what the Master would have thought...]

Neither could I. He's been a Master for a lot longer than any of us have even been Wielders, I may have been able to beat him in battle but he wasn't at his best.

[Not that she had either, not wanting to hurt Terra either.]

Those paths, no matter how far apart or deep in to darkness they take us will always lead to where we will be needed the most.

(He's finally woken up after so long. Of course, the first thing he thought about was finding his friends again. Still, seeing her leaves him confused as to how to react, overwhelmed.)

[She hadn't seen much of you when you were in the city, but it's good to see you anyway.]

(A little confused, very worried, but nothing bad's happened to him)

[A smile, a little forced but she's trying not to worry him too much.]

(okay, he's not good at this kind of thing, holding back emotions and stuff like that

he's really missed you alright? so you're getting a hug now)

[She's just going to hold him, she's been worried and missing him too.]

I'm just glad you're awake again.

(after a few moments, he pulls back a little but doesn't completely drop the hug)

Riku, Kairi, Xion and Roxas need to be trained but I don't know how.

[Just wait Ven, Roxas may freak you out just a bit.]

It's been ten years since I met any of them and they're just... all so different now.

People need to be trained? Who are they? And, uh, why…

(why does she have to do it? isn't there someone else who should train them? someone who can teach Aqua at the same time how to train.

I chose Kairi and Terra chose Riku. I don't know about the other two.
