No. No way. I refuse to be played by someone who doesn't even understand the concept of sleeping between shifts. It breaks so many SPD regulations to be tired on the job, why would your job be any better? I don't care if it's just serving coffee, you won't be able to perform at the best of your ability and that is just unexceptable.

This is so not fair. Why couldn't you have picked Z or Jack? They would be much more conducive to this sloppy lifestyle of yours. Heck, even Bridge would fit better, in his weird way. Not. Me.

Alright, so tell me something then. Since your dad was with this SPD group you've got to know a lot about it. What should I go in expecting? You say don't know what your Commander will do, but you've gotta have some kind of idea.

Some form of protective custody no doubt. That's about all I can guess. Cruger can be unpredictable sometimes, but if you are in trouble, he will protect you. Even if you are trouble.

I guess that's not the worst thing he could do. Especially if he's as unpredictable as you're saying. Kinda weird, though. I never heard of an unpredictable commander before.

You have no idea. I think it's why he picked Jack to lead his Rangers. They both have an unpredictable, superiority complex about them.

Jack has a superiority complex? I haven't seen it yet. He doesn't seem to take anything seriously, least of all himself.

He puts on a good show. He has a habit of letting his color go to his head.

Huh. You'd never know it by talking to him. He reminds me of a guy I used to know, except he's not a jerk.

Don't get me wrong. Jack can be a great leader. Excellent even. Most of the time, I have no hesitation following him into battle.

But there are times he makes it very hard to respect him. He's gotten better but it still happens on occasion.

You got any specific examples? If I'm going back with you and him, this probably falls under things I need to know.
