Though there was an undeniable scent that was clearly Link. They still had the same parents in the end so there was a genetic similarity that could not be mistaken.]

It's one of the distinct splits between us. Rather than fleeing to the forest my mother fled to the desert thinking a group of women would heed her request to protect me from the harsh environment.

Oh things did eventually came to a climax between him and the Gerudo women regarding that issue. By that time though the girls were rather fond of me and not so much of his megalomania. So they kicked him out. Sure he could of used his magic on them but now I realize that at the time he still needed the king's favor so taking harsh action against his own people wasn't an option.

That is very different than I remember their relationship. The Gerudo were quite fond of their King, even after his conquering of Hyrule. All save Nabooru.

It is odd to me that just my appearance within their group would be such a catalyst. But fate has done odder things.

The Great Deku Tree's existence was tied to our fate. The Kokiri were there for our protection, to give us a safe place to grow and learn of the world without drawing the attention of Ganondorf to us before we were ready to face him. When you did not come to him, his purpose was subverted and without aim. He had no reason not to be direct to you. It does not mean he was being rude or unkindly.
