Hrmm... I am not pleased with what has occurred with the boy. He will have to be watched more strictly.
...and I will have to watch myself more strictly with Zelda. She is not my Zelda and even if she were... it does not matter. I cannot allow myself to forget my place again. And you cannot allow me to either, Goddess Mun.

Or are you using your head enough to realize doing so would just get you knocked down again, child]

OH HE JUST THOUGHT OF SOMETHING. His expression brightens suddenly.]
Oh! I just remembered. That is the place where I will be going soon! Is it a nice place? Is it full of all kinds of things?
no subject
[He gives you a doggie smile.]
It is nice so far. Full of many things. Some very nice. Some not as much. It depends on what you find to be 'nice'.
no subject
Excellent! I am sure I will be able to make many wonderful katamari there. [He says this as if it is the BEST THING EVER.]

I hope this place is full of lots of new things! I would like to expand my collection.
no subject
...
Why?
no subject
You see, once a katamari has been rolled, it can then be turned into a star.

[This Link however was clearly not one of the forest, his skin had a deep tan and his body even more suited to athletics. His accent was even closer to the dialect of the desert.]
no subject
[He's going to come up and sniff you. See how different your scent is.]
no subject
[It was his best way to answer the question. His scent definitely wasn't of the forest but it wasn't completely unfamiliar. He smelled much like the Gerudo women. He lived like them after all. Though there was an undeniable scent that was clearly Link. They still had the same parents in the end so there was a genetic similarity that could not be mistaken.]
no subject
[Implying Nabooru was one of them. He wasn't going to give anything away when he didn't know this boy. Especially when his scent was so different.]
You smell of the desert and Gerudo. Did you earn your place among them, then?
no subject
It's one of the distinct splits between us. Rather than fleeing to the forest my mother fled to the desert thinking a group of women would heed her request to protect me from the harsh environment.
It worked out somehow.

[He circles, still wary of this boy.]

[He walks away and sits down. Studying the boy.]
It is odd to me that just my appearance within their group would be such a catalyst. But fate has done odder things.
[[ooc: I don't see any info on your AU in your journal. Do you have a write up of it somewhere? I'm interested in reading it.]]
no subject
[He sat down and did the same.]
((OOC: Not yet, I'm using voice testing to hammer out the kinks in his story first.))

[His voice was sharp, stern.]
The Great Deku Tree's existence was tied to our fate. The Kokiri were there for our protection, to give us a safe place to grow and learn of the world without drawing the attention of Ganondorf to us before we were ready to face him. When you did not come to him, his purpose was subverted and without aim. He had no reason not to be direct to you. It does not mean he was being rude or unkindly.

Besides, I would have not had to roll the katamari if it were not for...

Well... My father... He is very... How should I say this...
[Irresponsible? Insane? A man-child?]
He has trouble taking things seriously sometimes. He gets carried away, you see. And he sort of... Well... He... The stars... Let us just say there was nothing twinkling in the night sky.

The "wolf" hasn't actually been following him around this whole time, has he?
Let's see how long the two of them can hold a conversation without actually saying anything!]

Like always.]

...You decided to not backtalk the guy who could give you five across the eyes whenever he wanted. So...]
...How long? [It wasn't backtalk if he asked something that he was really curious about, right?]
no subject
Hrmmm...? How long what, child?
no subject
[this makes perfect sense, what are you talking about]

Was it before Faron Woods or what?
[Look, he's not mad or anything, he's just curious about how long a ghost/wolf/person/knight/ancestor(????) has been watching him.]
no subject
Was what before Faron Woods, boy? You'll have to be more clear in your questions.
no subject
Were y'following me around before I saw you there or not?
no subject
[His tail wags.]
I couldn't have found you otherwise, child.

I'm not a kid. I don't need to be [

Hrmmm... you are no longer so young as to be a pup, no. But you are still a child and it is still my duty to watch over you.
