trying to get back in the rp groove
Are you really sure you have the patience to roleplay after all this time?
[ HEAVY SIGH ]
I get that you're excited about having a muse that clicks with you again, but... jeez...

holy jaysus did you get a sex change maria
[His reply is laced too gently with acerbic poignancy -- or, perhaps, he wishes to feign disinterest.]
omg all the pixiv fanart is of super uke fayt it's upsetting
[ he mulls over this for a moment, giving albel only a moment of credit where credit is due. ]
I mean, it's not as though this wasn't a decision given some thought. It's just a bad decision given some thought.
"you can just use the game cg" HAHAHAHA
Albeit underhandedly, of course.]
If you minded yourself, surely you wouldn't surrender with such... inertia.
i thought about just making his entire icon set out of really awful crayon fanart
[ he has learned that oftentimes going with the flow is like following a booby trapped rainbow; the reward is there, it's just a lot of shit to slug through ]
Arguing semantics is pointless with you, though. I guess what I'm getting at is that I don't mind it, but I'm allowed to be apprehensive.
Does that make sense?
you don't have the GUTS and oh lawdy your fayt is lovely, btw :'D
[Silence, for a long moment, allowance to merely disregard the bubbling snarl itching against the corners is his lips.
Leingod's logic. Impeccable, yet not easy to swallow in the slightest.]
... Just where do you plan on going?
WHOOPS ignore that... but yes your albel is fantastic
[ he shrugs. it's not a big deal; he'll find it when he finds it. ]
There are any number of places out there to go, right? I don't want to dismiss anything. As long as I'm going to do this, I need to make sure it's comfortable for me.
thank you kindly! are you thinking of placing him in a game?
[The swordsman obviously has his own cold opinions -- and he expects they'll be summarily rejected now and then -- but the cynicism here holds some shred of truth. Nothing can make one comfortable when they're held against their will.]
The prison I've been thrown into certainty fits no standards.
i'd like to! i'm just not sure about what's out there o:
[ he sighs, but he does recognize that everywhere will have its inevitable flaws; after all, he liked elicoor ii when he was on it, but he was itching to go home ]
I don't think you'd be happy in the Garden of Eden, Albel, but that doesn't mean other people can't make the best of their situations. What's your place like?

The most pathetic excuse for a Keep. [He has been spending months at Holloway's, so there's no surprise in his bitter tone of disfavor.] With a letter that so ill-convincingly states our host is a man of "humble" intentions.
[It is not so much a normal citadel, moreso a castle of begrudging motions of casual violence interrupted by sessions of nongermane festivities. It has its place of celebration, but the punishments decked to those who were in some way insolent were the sort of imagery that was not easy to forget.
The swordsman speaks insinuatingly on his criticism, rolling his eyes with a darker 'hmph'. There's a brief respite before he continues.]
... The Aquarian wench is there.
{ooc: BEEP BEEP BEEP because there's no way to fit what I wanted to say in the subject line without it being terribly understated or just aesthetically unappealing. i'm Ida, by the way! as far as game-picking goes, i think size, more than any other factor, matters most. i've found

Nel is? Hah, I bet the two of you are really enjoying each other's presence.
How's she taking it?
( ooc: i have at least heard of all these, which is a good start! if i do end up putting fayt in a game, i definitely want something small-ish until i am certain of my ability to keep up with a roleplay so holloways is looking mad appealing from all sides... i am rachel, by the by! )

Somewhere, the flames of the Pandemonium is licking the bottom of her heels. Or so Albel would like to hope.]
Hn. She has been there much longer than I.
[There's nothing much left to say. As far as Nel was concerned, she's amassed over a year or away from home and Albel could not speak for her experiences even if he possessed the knowledge to do so. She was "taking it", admittingly, better than he did, but it's open as to whether the inevitable passage of time can be thanked for such.]
{ooc: beautiful! :'D if you decide to give it a go, the app cycle ends on the 16th, so if you're legitimately superman and can write an app that fast it would be incredible, tbh. (there's always the cycle after that, however.) not to mention, i know one of our mods also plays Cliff in her down time. and obviously if you have any questions, feel free to mozy right on up and ping/add me on plurk (idahna)!}

Well, maybe that just means you'll eventually adjust. Or is the great Albel Nox incapable of doing something an Aquarian can do?
[ sometimes it's just too easy. ]
( ooc: IF ONLY I WERE SUPERMAN... i think it might be wise to start working now and try to get it in for the next app cycle... ahh... i'm going to add you on plurk right now if that's okay! )

[Albel scoffs -- was the blue-haired fool, perhaps, implying something?]
Ridiculous, worm. Her business is nothing of my concern. Zelpher has been naught but retired her desire to escape the Keep. The Aquarian takes no action.
I, on the other hand, have other plans.
{ooc: sounds good. (there's a revolt plot going on right now that albel's involved in -- which is also what he's referring to by 'plans' -- and it probably is best to wait after the shenanananagins simmer down to introduce fayt. and re:plurk, it's ah-okay bruh! tbh i'm pretty new to plurk and don't plurk as often as others but AH WELL.}

Just don't get yourself hurt in the process. I don't know what you're up to, but it can't be anything good.
( ooc: ah okay! i'll keep that in mind, thank you!! oh my goodness i'm excited now thank you so much for tagging me... )
no subject
And in the Keep? That was a handful of individuals, perhaps less.
Fayt's sly little mention only makes him scowl, however.]
Hmph! You mock me? The maggots there are playthings. I know just how simple it is to take down a puppetry with no bite to his bark.
{ooc: psh no prob bob! so3 players are definitely few and far in between so i honestly reeled back when i saw a fayt hork hork hork.]

[ he knows albel's a terror, but he feels safe in teasing him like this because he's been like that with albel from the get-go. ]
I just know that you're the type of person to make a lot of unnecessary enemies.
( ooc: yeah i totally didn't expect an albel AND YET HERE WE ARE )
no subject
[Albel shrugs dismissively, but doesn't deny anything else. The swordsman is not the one to renounce truth under any circumstance, no matter how straightforward or veraciously intentioned it was barreled his way. More than any other, Albel was almost too painfully aware of his faults, his cruelty.
The only difference between him and the others is he accepts it.]
Hasn't anyone warned you of strangers?
no subject
Well, yeah.
But even you were a stranger once, and now you're a pretty necessary ally. I'd say it pays to make friends... but maybe that's just my blind optimism talking?
