It's a trick. It has to be. This can't have happened. Not to me! I want it back. I need it back! Give, it, back! Give me back my bending!

Without it, I'm just... just some non-bender. I have... no power. No control! You can't leave me like this. You just can't.  Without my bloodbending... how can I even force this mun to keep tagging with me? This place is the only world now in which I can thrive! I need it. I need my control back.

Nothing's permanent. There has to be a way! They took it away... they could give it back! I bet the Avatar could... but she's too selfish to help!

[Aw hell no, Tarrlok.] I do not want to hear YOU of all people calling me selfish. If I gave it back, the same thing would happen all over again. You're the selfish one who abused your power to try and take control of Republic City. I'm never giving power back to a corrupted man like you.
