(This was...pretty different from whenever Luna powered down. This would be confusing, but she and Celestia would always be sisters. Celestia wasn't going to let something like time get in the way of that.)

Hello, my dear sister. Is everything alright?

[with a gleeful shout,] 'Tia! [the filly leaps onto her hooves with clatter. And.

...

...

...Well. Have a tiny Luna staring up at you in confusion.] You're too big.

(Tiny Luna is just...so so adorable.)

I am considerably bigger, yes, but that's not an excuse to not play with you, Luna.

[her ears perk up at the word 'play.']

Really? You're not too busy or anything?

(She shakes her head with a smile.)

I'm never too busy to spend time with my dear sister. What would you like to play?

[you can almost see the gears turning in her head as she adopts a look of pure contemplation. Anything easy, like tag, is seriously hindered by the fact that she's no match against those incredibly long legs.]

Let's go flying! [by which she means she wants a pony ride while you get to do all the work.]

(Oh, that's definitely a look Celestia remembers. It's not too hard to see that Luna's definitely giving this a lot of consideration.

The actual suggestion makes Celestia chuckle and kneel down for Luna to climb aboard.)

Yes. Let's go and get some wind beneath our wings.

[and she clambers on with a giggle, settling herself at the juncture between the neck and the back.

This, however, brings up another question.] Did your mane always do that?

(Just gonna make sure she's all secured before takeoff...

...but wait, a question!)

Sometimes it does. Someday, your mane will be able to do the same.

(Can't reveal more than that because messing with time like this was bad enough. Spoiling the future for Luna could lead to some very messed up things...

...but enough of that; distract her with takeoff! Nothing like soaring through the skies with a sister to share it with. Always cruising speed for Celestia, so there's no need to worry about falling off~)

That's wei - [and before she could pass her judgment on the topic of flowing manes, the takeoff completely and thoroughly distracts her.

There's an unbridled squee of happiness even as a pair of tiny hooves (try) to make their way around that neck. It's more of a hug than any real attempt to hold on; she knows her big sis would never let her fall.]

(Oh, she wouldn't even let Luna come close to falling. She'd just use her magic to keep her afloat as they soared through the skies.

But this was much more enjoyable. Sure, Celestia couldn't exactly return the hug, as much as she wanted to, but this was still wonderful on its own accord.

And after a nice round of flying through Equestria's skies, Celestia carries her sister back home where Luna can safely disembark.)

[she carefully hops off, while experimentally flapping her own tiny wings. They net her a couple of precious seconds of airtime, but really. It just reinforces the idea that flying isn't fun unless Celestia is around.

And she then hugs a leg, mainly because trying to reach up for a nuzzle is pretty much a lost cause at this height.]

(With practice, dear Luna, you'll be able to have as much airtime as you want. And Celestia will always be there to fly with you.

Also, nuzzles are totally possible. She's just leaning down to make it possible because yeah she's tall, but damn if she won't try to manage that for you.)
