I know Eugene and Merlin wouldn't want to let her see me, but.... [She is still Rapunzel's "mother" who raised her and cared for her. And how is Rapunzel supposed to talk to her about the implications of what Eugene told her if she can't see her?]
Right! Well, she might not even come...it's just a reserve, at the moment. [But this girl was right. She doesn't have to give up her newfound freedom when people seemed so accepting of her at the Garden.]
I'm not sure. I think we'd need to talk to these mods about her....um, circumstances. [ie what would happen if Eugene kept Rapunzel from Gothel and/or Rapunzel was updated.]
That probably won't be necessary. There aren't any towers at the Garden for her to keep me in. [Besides, even at the highest floor of the school she could easily escape from the windows climbing down her hair, even if Gothel managed to separate her from Eugene.]
Just because what Eugene told me means she -- that doesn't mean I would want to hurt her or anything. I just want to talk to her about it, to find out why.
Okay; once upon a time was an old woman who didn't want to grow old. She used a magical plant to regain her youth every so often, becoming young again with just a song. However one day the plant was taken away; used as a medicine to save a dying member of nobility. The properties of the plant were passed on to the noble's daughter's hair.
So the old woman snatched the baby away and raised her, made her grow her hair out nice and long so that she could live forever.
So....it's because of my hair. All that time she was warning me about how others would try to kidnap me and use my hair, to cut it or sell it....when really it was her... [She had sort of gathered as much from what Eugene had said, she just didn't want to believe it.]

Though in return she would have to listen to me.

[Rapunzel would get hugs, because Jeanette knew a lot about family issues.]
But hey, now you have Eugene and all those other friends.
