Well to be fair...where I come from our horses really don't...talk. I mean yea, we have talking lions and pigs, but never a talking horse. Didn't mean to upset you, my dear.

[Irvine is confused, he should be charming cause she's a lady but not cause she's a horse]

[Fluttercruel shakes her head, getting rid of the last remnants of pain.]

Ugh... And it wasn't you that upset me. This Celestia-damned headache came right the buck out of nowhere and almost made 'Shy crash. It was like someone stabbed an invisible knife into our brain.

Ouch, sounds painful. [shrugs] Not sure what this Celestia or 'Shy is, but I've always seen that relaxing and trying not to worry too much about little things tends to help with any type of headache.

I mean hell, if no one is in danger and all is good, maybe some R&R is needed. Course that's just me

[Fluttercruel's colors become more vibrant, the scars fade into nothingness, and the helping hoof cutie mark becomes three butterflies.]

Um, Pinkie Diane and I were just having a picnic with the three interviewers... I don't think I was worrying at all...

[This is new, more color in this horse than the pale greys] Sorry, it just sounded like you were a little...about that "'Shy" pers-pony-um...yea.

But I never meant to imply my dear, [Tips his hat and bows to the pony] Sorry, never properly introduced myself, Irvine Kinneas, at your service.

[Fluttershy nervously shuffles a hoof in the ground.]

Um... Fluttercruel was talking about me... I was in control at the time...

Ahhh, so you're 'Shy, as she called you. [chuckles, pony or not, she's still a lady] Well it's a pleasure to meet you shy.

And don't worry, I don't bite or anything, see [Raises his hands up and just has a big old smile on his face] I'm harmless, especially to someone as pretty as yourself.

[Fluttershy tries hiding behind her pink mane from the praise.]

Oh... um... thank you.

I guess the name shy means more than just a name huh? [Chuckles] But you're still cute, and doing that makes you cuter. [If Rinoa and Selphie saw her they'd hug her till she couldn't breathe]

You know you're really lucky.

[shy_kindness]

[Fluttershy starts blushing a little from all the praise. She mumbles something a bit, shyly shuffling her hoof some more.]

How... how am I lucky?

Well that's easy, you have someone who's looking out for you, making sure you don't get hurt. A guardian angel.

[Heh. Never thought I'd be called one of those.]

Thanks, but... I'm really no more important than anypony else...

You're very selfless, Shy, but you have to realize that you're still important and special [Pats her head] So don't let anyone tell you other wise, okay?

[Fluttershy turns back into Fluttercruel.]

Don't worry, Irvine, I'll make sure no one bucks with 'Shy, Irvine. And I won't let her get separated from her friends and I.

[If it isn't the other pony. He just smiles] I know you won't, Fluttercruel was it?

Cruelly and Shy, sounds like sitcom or a really funny play.

Sudden headaches are always terrible; they're the guaranteed way to break someone's focus and lead to accidents.

(Kreutzer instinctively rubs her own head. She's had a few rough days like that herself.)

No kidding... I was lucky enough to get in control before there was a yellow and pink carcass messing up the ground.

That would've been a terrible mess to have to clean up. How are you two feeling otherwise?

[Fluttercruel rubs her head a little bit more.]

Other than feeling I had an invisible knife stabbed into my brain for a second there, we've been doing fine. Just got done with a picnic with Pinkie Pie and the trio of interviewers.

Perhaps it was a migraine. I believe they spike more frequently when under heavy focus or stress.

Interviewers? What remarkable feat did you and Fluttershy accomplish this time?

The thing is neither of us were really stressed out.

Nothing really. I've been interviewed a buckton. The interviewers just got sappy and tell us how much we really mean to them.

They do have a habit of surprising people, but they're too random for my own preferences.

You sound like idols or heroes, when you put it like that. Perhaps you have a secret identity that needs protection?

(Totally teasing.)

Heh. A lot of ponies still like Princess Gaia. 'Shy doesn't really like being called that, though.

Then might I perhaps ask about this Princess Gaia, if it's not too much trouble?

It's what she called herself when she turned everyone into foals and took their pain away.

I see...that's an incredible demonstration of power. How can anyone manage something like that?

She turned into Nightmare Whisper and found some freaky horn of power.

My, that doesn't sound pleasant at all. It seems like many of your canon's events revolve around you and Fluttershy. I hope it hasn't been causing you grief...

Heh. There was a whole arc dedicated to 'Shy and I. It lasted 12 chapters.

[Fluttercruel looks a little concerned and unsure.]

Eh... 'Shy... really hasn't forgiven herself just yet...

That's very impressive. An entire 12 chapter arc? Sounds like you two earned the favor of the author...

(Which...might not be a great thing, upon reflection.)

I'm sorry to hear it still troubles her. At least she has friends and comrades who'll never leave her; perhaps that'll make the process easier?

There's an 8 chapter arc dealing with some Tiaras and a 13 chapter arc dealing with everyone waking up one morning.

I can only hope so... She has me, the other Elements of Harmony, and Coffee Swirl to help her.

Sounds like quite a cast of characters to have by your side.

...my support will have little effect on either of you from a canon perspective, but I'd like to offer it to you nonetheless. I can understand what she's going through...

(You know, from a "I did something terrible and feel bad and can't forgive myself" perspective.)
