Hi, Miss Mundane! It's nice to meet you! To be honest, I was a little bit worried... Karkat's said some terrible things about you, and he kept trying to "warn" me about something. But you don't seem very scary to me at all! I think he was just being grumpy and melodramatic again after all.

So... I hope this doesn't sound rude, but I was kind of wondering-- why did you make me a journal all of a sudden, after you were too nervous to do it before?

Well, it's kind of a long story, but I guess I can try... Bec was my dog, or, well, I thought he was a dog, but I guess he was actually a really powerful first guardian! When I started playing a game that turned out to not really be a game at all, but something that created a whole new universe, my dreamself died, and then we accidentally combined Bec with the kernelsprite and prototyped him. And then, a lot of things happened, and I prototyped my dreamself's body, so then I became a sprite along with Bec and kept his ears! Actually, I had a lot more than just the ears when I was a sprite. And my sprite was sooo depressing and scared! But then I got killed in an explosion, and I guess an agent of the game that kept following me around for some creepy reason took me to my quest bed, so, instead of dying, I ascended and combined with Jadesprite and now we're all combined into one Jade-- me!

Oh gosh, I hope that's not too confusing...

You are really lucky my mind can keep up with this sort of thing.

Eridan also mentioned something about not being able to reach his quest bed. I didn't ask him much about it. He's rather depressed and tends to keep to himself.

Oh, no, that's right... a lot of the other trolls died, too, and only a few of them ever made it to their quest beds. I don't know a whole lot about them, but the sprite part of me knew some things that I don't. All I know is that a lot of them are gone now.
