Wonderland. Big old mansion with next to nothing to do most of the time, which bit by bit eats our memories. Plus everyone gets an alternate self living on the other side of the mirrors.

[That last bit might be somewhat of a poor spot. The mun likes prodding at past trauma. You can guess what colour eyes stare at him from every reflective surface.]

You can imagine they don't always stay over there.
