@ Last Voyages. ilu guys C:

The armies of the undead Scourge fighting a battle with Poison Ivy is not the same thing as a game of "Plants vs Zombies."

You're not funny.

[No, he's not laughing. He's holding it in really, really well.]

[When you have a behemoth at your back, glares tend to lose power. To his credit, though, he does manage to compose the grin to more neutral territory.]

Your description sounds exactly like the game. How is it different?

And what about the plants?

[personal profile] gammabruce 2012-06-02 04:13 am (UTC)(link)
I meant what kind were they. Pea shooters, Venus fly traps, sunflowers?

[personal profile] gammabruce 2012-06-02 05:21 am (UTC)(link)
... Oh. Okay, so not like the game at all. [Pause.] But, you know, technically... plants vs zombies. In species only terms, it fits.

We'll have to agree to disagree, then.

[personal profile] gammabruce 2012-06-02 07:25 am (UTC)(link)
...You realize you can't win this argument, right?

A zombie is a reanimated human corpse given "life" through supernatural means. Also known as "undead", also know as your army.

They were fighting the heretofore established forms of "plants". (Sidenote: The human hybrid soldiers are, by the above terminology, zombies, so for sake of the point I'm making, they're excluded.)

By all logical breakdowns, the argument of whether or not the battle was "like the game" is irrelevant. Going solely by titles of objects fighting, we have the following facts. Your allies/minions were zombies. The enemies were plants.

In conclusion: Plants vs Zombies. Or, if you wish to argue technicalities, Zombies vs Plants.
