I would have you remember, please, that even away from my lord father - especially then, perhaps - I must be careful to conduct myself as is befitting. [He rears up the bird's reins, landing them near the top of the waterfall's ridge.]

[The landing is smooth, but she still tightens her grip for a moment, tensing - and then when they've stopped, relinquishes her hold and sits primly.]

[He sets off the bird with a bit of a flourish, but his feet still hit the ground thickly and with a bit of a clamor.]

Can you, uh, get down?

[He is blushing so hard again.]

I think - [After swinging her leg over with as much grace (and modesty) as she can, it's easy enough to brace her hands on the saddle and then slip off. (Perhaps with a bit of a squeak, unused to this as she is.)

She smiles once again, stepping away from the bird to smooth her skirts before she takes a look around herself.]

[He's already peering over the waterfall's edge, waving an arm for her to come look.]

[She comes closer somewhat tentatively, and some distance away from him, too. Just incase. Infact, she's not very fond of being on the edge like this, and that's clear on her face for a moment before she swallows, steels herself, and yields to curiosity to look over.

And, honestly - ] It's so beautiful...

[groosed]

[He remains perfectly, painfully oblivious to her discomfort.]

There's one like this on the island where I grew up.

[And she is much happier that way.]

You must have grown up in a lovely place.

Yeah, I guess. I mean, it's home.

Where do you come from? [A gentleman always shows an interest in the lady's backstory! Groose had this beaten into him.]

[He does not sound too enthusiastic, and she envies that. If he had had home ripped from him, kept from him, he would miss it more. And yet, she's glad he has not experienced that, as Sansa Stark did.]

[He plops down unceremoniously into a sitting position, an arm tucked over his knee, and gives her his full attention.

[She glances around before deciding there's no harm in sitting down (these are not the fine silks that she once wore, anyway) and so she gathers her skirts and takes a seat not too far away.]

It... is a very beautiful place. But a hard place, too, when winter comes.

[He lives above the clouds, okay.]

But - doesn't it rain, or - snow? [Yep guess who doesn't get the whole above cloud idea.]

[He scratches at an ear. Guess who doesn't understand these words?]

Rain is - [She's never had to explain this before, clearly, which makes the words feel clumsy.] - when it rains, the clouds cover the sky, and make it look grey, and water falls in... thousands of tiny droplets. Snow is similar, but it isn't water, it's - [it's snow, she was about to say.] It's frozen, and white.

I demand you explain the origin of that phrase to me. :<

So... it's like the waterfall. [He's so proud of himself for making this connection.]

[It's not very much like that at all, maybe, but she can see where he's coming from, and considers a moment.]
