Memorial Day
Some Americans spend today's holiday relaxing and enjoying barbecues, or reading, or otherwise relaxing. Some do not have the day off, and are busy with jobs or other roles. And they're right to do so -- all of them. They are enjoying the freedoms which so many have fought and died for.
I ask to not be among those working today. Allow me time to reflect. Allow me time to remember those who fought and died in war. Don't give me a battle between the U-Man and the Avengers. Don't give me a rock-climbing day off. Just... let me rest and reflect, here, in peace and quiet.
Thank you.

If there's anyone who deserves rest today, it's you, Steve. You've been through hell in a handbasket, and I'm pretty sure you've done that literally, too.
[Have a crooked smile, too]
So get some rest, m'man.

For me, it's not about having a day to myself. It's about a those who don't have any more days to give.

Good men. They were good men, and we won't forget.
*and he won't forget the ones he killed, either. But that's... not for pointing out to Steve.*

But because there are always men like those who we honor today, your plans will always fail, Skull. Always.

I am certain they would be honored to know you think of them and all they have done on this day.
