That's great, mun! I'm glad you guys finished the log, I think it'll be a great prologue to what you guys have got planned.

But uh, about the other stuff you two were talking about, do we really have to go through with it? I mean, just because we have a penchant for "Amusing injuries" as you put it...

I'm not complaining, I'm just asking you to think through it? I don't really want to be a news headline, even if I would be fine.

[He laughs a bit, scratching behind one ear and closing the eye on that side.] Thanks.

[Then he smiles brightly.] We love using the suits, and do so every chance we get. [Just for the sake of it he effortlessly hops a circle around Perry as he talks, returning to his starting point within a few moments.] It really helps us get into the mind of a creature, and figure out how they work. Sometimes literally.

[Gives Chris an unsure look. The "literally" bit makes it sound like you're cutting animals heads open.]

What? Oh come on, I meant with me and Martin. [He shrugs.] So the food responses in these suits happen to be a little strong, that's all...

[Only with you, Chris. Martin had one incident, I've lost count of yours.]

[Looks relieved, at least he probably doesn't have to worry about being sliced open in the future.]

[Like he'd ever do that in the first place. He MUCH prefers studying live animals, thank you very much.]

[Well you never know. You know about those people who claim to be animal lovers but abuses them behind camera.]

[Yeah and if he did that he'd have been tossed out on his ear ages ago, by his brother if not by himself. ...You heard me.

This guy's all about making sure animals are safe, happy, and living free and in the wild.]

[Yeah, well he doesn't live in the wild, nor is his life really safe, so that might be hard with him.]

[While Chris isn't exactly happy Perry's a pet, he knows he's at least in a good home. Besides, Perry only half counts anyway; don't think Chris doesn't know that Agent P does a lot of the same stuff they do, in his own way.]

[You can blame O.W.C.A. for that. Not that Perry really wants you to. As he probably won't do very well living a "normal" platypus life.]

[That's a given, no offense Perry. Besides the general inability of heavily domesticated creatures to exist in their natural wild homes, male platypi ~~platypeople?~~ are territorial and can be dangerous during the breeding season, particularly to other members of the species. Possessing venomous spurs is definitely a big part of that.]

[Ah, venomous spurs. He's kinda glad that they removed that part. He wouldn't be able to live with himself if he accidentally hit Phineas or Ferb with that.]

[Good point. The venom isn't deadly to humans, but it's pretty incapacitating all the same.]

[Besides, they're children. It would probably be much worse it they hit them rather than, say, Doofenshmirtz or someone like that.]

[Another good point. Should probably have thought of that himself.]

[Exactly. He can't imagine himself enjoying the wild much anyway even if he was born wild. Though he may be biased since he had amazing owners.]

[Hey, it goes without saying that the wild is a pretty wild place. You should hang out in it with the bros sometime, though. You'd probably have fun then.]

[Well he gets the feeling that he's going to have to do it anyway. Might as well try to have fun with it, right?]

[Exactly! And there's no one better to do it with than a Kratt brother or two.]

[Naturally! And who knows, a greater love of nature might even be instilled in the boys, and there'd be nothing wrong with that.]

[Well they made a plane run on vegetable oil, so that might not be too hard to do.]
