(no subject)

Bringing me back, I see. Just in time. Oui, we all know that you must be so proud that you know my name correctly. "Second-hand embarrassment", you say.

Honestly, I do not understand it either.

You'd better not put me on the shelf again after this. That's no place for someone such as myself, and you know it.
green_xman: (Oh please)

At least getting your name wrong is better than drawing you completely unrecognizble.
green_xman: (Awkward)

[personal profile] green_xman 2012-05-25 05:35 am (UTC)(link)
I have.

Did you see how that Greg Land guy made me look? Or another artist that recently made me look like someone took the scales off Godzilla's back and glued them to my head?

Yeah. It was bad. [He sighs.] Enough about that though.

I hear you've got something really good happening soon in the comics.

I'm surprised it didn't happen sooner. [Terrible indeed.] So, should I expect an invite?
green_xman: (Made of Awesome)

[personal profile] green_xman 2012-05-25 06:25 am (UTC)(link)
Great. [He's grinning too.] I'll be looking forward to it then.

Eh, same old as always. Get just about ignored in favor of the new kids for the most part, get pushed into safe rooms whenever the threat of the week shows up to wreck the school.
kneecaptain: (brooding & possibly confused??)

Wow, your… typist really did go nuts with those layers.
kneecaptain: (brooding & never gonna shave)

[personal profile] kneecaptain 2012-05-25 05:33 am (UTC)(link)
I'm glad. Well, not me, but… you get the idea.

[personal profile] kneecaptain 2012-05-25 05:38 am (UTC)(link)
Yeah, maybe we should— talk about something else.

[DOES NOT SUGGEST ANYTHING]
kneecaptain: (brooding & when did namor get pants?)

[SHUT UP, THIS IS AN AWKWARD PLACE]

So, uh, you're French?
kneecaptain: (Default)

[personal profile] kneecaptain 2012-05-25 06:00 am (UTC)(link)
[Shut up!]

Right. I should've recognized the accent.

[Is he oblivious to the OFFENDED or does he just not care?]

[personal profile] kneecaptain 2012-05-25 06:23 am (UTC)(link)
[ a slight shrug ]

It's been a while. My French is rusty.
kneecaptain: (brooding & fuck you matt fraction)

[personal profile] kneecaptain 2012-05-25 06:26 am (UTC)(link)
All over. I was a military brat.
theotherspeedy: (whee!)

[personal profile] theotherspeedy 2012-05-25 05:52 am (UTC)(link)
Congrats on the publicity stunt wedding! I hope the supervillain attacks are minimal.
theotherspeedy: (heeee)

[personal profile] theotherspeedy 2012-05-25 06:05 am (UTC)(link)
[Thanks, Kevin Keller, for showing us that being boycotted by stupid people makes a publisher a fuckton of money! Here's hoping One Million Moms speaks up on this!]

Also, here's hoping no one shows up at your wedding demonically possessed. Or that neither you or the fiance get replaced by a shapeshifting villain in order to kill the other on the honeymoon. Or-... well. You get the point.

Really, you'll probably be better off if the cover's as deceptive as every other cover ever, and you just have a small ceremony at the courthouse.

Which will probably still be blown up because comics.

It's cute, at least. Just focus on the cute. And try not to die. Again.

Heh. Good luck, Beaubier; that's all I'm sayin'.
canada_eh: (Grinning eh?)

I hear you've got some rather good news on the horizon, Jean-Paul.
