I can tell you are excited by the idea of trying to play me, but do finish your reading first!  I don't think it would be a good idea to try to play me with only partial knowledge on my race.

Oh, and please consider relocating where you intend to send me.  I have had enough adventure to last me several lifetimes of Men, and really it is enough for an Elf as well!  I also have many other things to do before leaving on my way to the West.

That is not entirely true. Without us, Man would never have grown the way they did. And for all their faults, they are a most endearing race in their way.

Probably because he's an odd duck as far as elves/faeries go, being a former human and all that.

We don't see eye-to-eye on many things. Differences in morality are the main ones.

Humans tend t'disapprove of reveling until they die of exhaustion. [Tam himself can see things from both sides, having been born human, but later become a faerie.]

Humans have a rather short life. Anything that ends it prematurely is fearful for them. Sure this is known?

Then certainly they are different from mine. Although not all of us appreciate Men, we do not usually wish them harm either. They have proven helpful in the past.
