I can tell you are excited by the idea of trying to play me, but do finish your reading first!  I don't think it would be a good idea to try to play me with only partial knowledge on my race.

Oh, and please consider relocating where you intend to send me.  I have had enough adventure to last me several lifetimes of Men, and really it is enough for an Elf as well!  I also have many other things to do before leaving on my way to the West.

Halflings is another name for them. Almost like men, they are much smaller and much hardier. Though very partial to eating.

No, no! Dwarves are quite a different race altogether. They are firm built, with beards and love stone. Hobbits are clean shaven, although they have hairy feet, and enjoy digging their homes beneath the Earth.

Not yet. But I hear they look much as Elves or Humans, depending on their wont. But others I know have indeed met them.
