Hello, my mundane, we have much to talk about. Oh, I know, you called it an 'experiment', but I was always there, in the shadows. You even dressed as me for that holiday, as a child - this was always going to happen, mundane, you must understand this. And I think it is a rather amenable arrangement, don't you?

You get to see me engage in...well, swashbuckling, let us not dance around it, no? And I...well, I get to spend time with Elena. That is, really, all that I desire and require. Perhaps, now and again, to do good deeds - to live an exciting life. But you are doing very well by me, and I shall do well by you.

[He looked the newcomer over for a moment, tilted his head for a moment more, as if considering this. A unique proposition, really. Finally, he nodded, drawing the sword in a smooth movement]

[His stance was very accurate, he had done this many times before.]

I wonder how your sword will stand up to Grace?

[He paused at the second statement]

Oh. You're one of those people.

[The ones that name their blades, and mention them in casual fight-time conversation. Not bad, necessarily, but a bit...odd, to him. He takes a deceptively lazy pose. This will be the test of his opponent's skill]

Well, one can't have everything.

[Then a lazy-seeming series of high blows, in a slow flurry]

[Azrael blocked every single strike, this level was really an insult to him and he would make it known by making a quick swipe at Zorro's mid section to attempt to cut his clothing.]

[A clean miss, but a good demonstration of his opponent's skill. He grinned. And said nothing. He subscribed to a maxim: when the time comes to shoot, shoot - don't talk. The next series came with a grin, moving from high to low with a great deal of speed, advancing to drive his opponent back]

[Azrael moved with the blows with as much expertise as his opponent. However one thing Zorro did not know about Azrael was that he was very much willing to strike when he himself was in danged of being hit.

So in a rather sudden motion he would change from deflecting to a quick stab, attempting to go right through a non-vital area of Zorro's midsection.]
