Hello, my mundane, we have much to talk about. Oh, I know, you called it an 'experiment', but I was always there, in the shadows. You even dressed as me for that holiday, as a child - this was always going to happen, mundane, you must understand this. And I think it is a rather amenable arrangement, don't you?

You get to see me engage in...well, swashbuckling, let us not dance around it, no? And I...well, I get to spend time with Elena. That is, really, all that I desire and require. Perhaps, now and again, to do good deeds - to live an exciting life. But you are doing very well by me, and I shall do well by you.

Let us begin, Senor, for the sooner the adventure begins the better.

[He looked the newcomer over for a moment, tilted his head for a moment more, as if considering this. A unique proposition, really. Finally, he nodded, drawing the sword in a smooth movement]

Very well.

[His stance was very accurate, he had done this many times before.]

I wonder how your sword will stand up to Grace?

[He paused at the second statement]

Oh. You're one of those people.

[The ones that name their blades, and mention them in casual fight-time conversation. Not bad, necessarily, but a bit...odd, to him. He takes a deceptively lazy pose. This will be the test of his opponent's skill]

Well, one can't have everything.

[Then a lazy-seeming series of high blows, in a slow flurry]

[Azrael blocked every single strike, this level was really an insult to him and he would make it known by making a quick swipe at Zorro's mid section to attempt to cut his clothing.]

[A clean miss, but a good demonstration of his opponent's skill. He grinned. And said nothing. He subscribed to a maxim: when the time comes to shoot, shoot - don't talk. The next series came with a grin, moving from high to low with a great deal of speed, advancing to drive his opponent back]

[Azrael moved with the blows with as much expertise as his opponent. However one thing Zorro did not know about Azrael was that he was very much willing to strike when he himself was in danged of being hit.

So in a rather sudden motion he would change from deflecting to a quick stab, attempting to go right through a non-vital area of Zorro's midsection.]

[Looks the newcomer over.]

[He looks. And stares. And blinks a few times]

I believe...tornado may have kicked me in the head.

Um. [Fluttershy looks around.] ...I don't see a tornado.

[Of course he is, man.

But Mamoru can't help but be taken aback.]

You're...Zorro?

[A good move, he would have conceded, but enough people had tried to stab him that he was used to such things. Usually from amateurs, but professionals occasionally tried to use it, too, and far more cunningly.]

[His next move was a slide along his opponent's blade, trying to flick it up, to place his blade against the other's neck. That was the difference, really. He wasn't trying to stab his opponent - there was no such thing as a non-vital part of the midsection, as far as he was concerned.]

[He sketched a bow, and nodded, modestly saying nothing]

No, no...Tornado is my horse.

[A pause]

And since I am seeing a talking horse, I must ask certain questions of myself and what might have happened.

[Azrael needed to think fast, he quickly spun around using his blade as a defense as he tried to gain distance.]

You are much better than the brutes I am used to.

Oh. Sorry, I didn't know. Tornado must be a good horse.

Um, I'm a pony... but you can call me a horse if you want.

[And he'd be pursuing him the entire way, the blows of his sword aiming to draw his opponent's sword further and further away from the core of his body.]

[Azrael liked to talk during fights, very well. He'd deny him that. Just silence, and a rain of blows. The little distractions could become big advantages]

You are the talking pony...I think I should call you whatever you want.

[Well he's used to an opponent with a hero complex so he's used to banter, yes.]

[For now though he would work on defending himself. Seeming to realize Zorro's plan he would accept any blows to extremities while defending his more vital areas.]

[He...couldn't believe he was doing this, but he was bowing to a talking pony, shedding his hat]

No, I am Zorro.

[For a moment, when this Zorro bowed to her, she felt like Princess Gaia again. She tries hiding behind her pink mane.]

[If he were aiming to kill him, he'd have kept doing just that, trying to instill the small cuts that would lead to exhaustion. But instead, he cut a low blow at his legs, trying to at least disable him]
