[She then looks over to The Sparked One and wat.]

Megasoma! Spike! We're going to have a little spar! Square off, you two.

[The bug eagerly obeys, running over to the right of both them while the dragon-serpent creature slides into place on the other side.]

Alright. Ready?

[Trixie stands back a little bit and sits down.]

[Megasoma promptly charges at Spike, horn down. It looks like he's going to slam straight into the dragon, but at the last moment, he dodges and starts wrapping around the giant bug.]

[Woah. Trixie never expected this battle to start off so suddenly like that.]

[The Heracross forces his arms into the grip of the squeezing Dragonair, and forces his way out of it, tossing him to the ground. Spike responds by sending a discharge of electricity out, stopping Megasoma in his tracks.]

Don't stop now, Megasoma! Use Close Combat!

[With a defiant cry, the bug closes the distance and begins rapidly punching and kicking at the dragon.]

[...Wow. Oh wow. This is really violent.]

[The Dragonair shakes off the brutal attack, cries out, and abruptly charges forward, cloaked in some sort of aura of pure menace. He slams straight into Megasoma, who staggers back a bit, wobbles, and falls over on his back.]

Hmmm. Done, Megasoma?

...Trixie wonders if these... Pokemon creatures always battle like this.

Preeeeetty much constantly. You get used to it after you realize that none of them actually cause permanent damage to each other.

[Indeed, Megasoma is already starting to force himself back up on his feet, though he's wobbly.]
