I'm not sure how I feel about being held captive in a city full of tyrants. You know how I feel about bullies; we've had this discussion before. So far, everyone's been helpful (or loud), and I don't know if all that excessive swearing is necessary either...

Well, I'll do what I can while I'm there. People always are going to need help, after all.

Selfish? Why, I must've picked up after my brother! No, no, it's not just the idea of vengeance really. It's more of a perk. I should've clarified that tormenting...Jane, I believe her name is, would be just awful to Thor.

_{[He turns, walking away from Captain with that grin still on his face.]} Either way it won't help you. A shield against Asgardian magic? I honestly don't think you have much of a chance.

If I don't stand much of a chance, why are you the one walking away? [Cap is still frowning, and looses his shield.]

I guess we won't know until we find out. Do you have the guts to try?

Are you willing to stop me? You've got a shield to polish and I have your world to conquer. Surely the polishing will be harder than my chore. Most humans are painfully dull, it shouldn't take long. _{[Loki twirls on his heel, giving Captain another full-face grin.]}

[Cap holds his ground firm, but makes no movements. Right now, all Loki is, is hot air. A bunch of taunts and words, and not worth getting into a scuffle over. He'd save the fight for when there was a need, and not just a petty argument.]

You're excused. But when you're ready to do more than idly taunt, don't forget who it was that defeated you last time.

_{[The god paused in his step to look at the human behind him.]} Oh yes. I remember who did. It wasn't you all by yourself. Are you really ready to try and take on a god all by yourself?

_{[A glittering greenish-gold glimmer and there's more than one Loki there now, but six of him, all leering at Captain from their spots.]} Are you certain we've been idly taunting? I will take over this world, and everyone will bow to me as their king.

[Cap stands there in the center of the circle of illusions, his eyes narrowed. This might be a case of mutual underestimation, because Loki doesn't seem to realize that it wasn't just his strength and health that the serum improved. His perception, his senses, everything about him was at its peak, and he turns his head carefully as he looks at each one. He was a soldier, a strategist, not about to barrel forward without a plan.]

You know what, Loki...[He finally levels his piercing blue eyes on the real Loki and squares his shoulders.] I never really did much care for men who like to tower over others.

I suppose then we are equal, as i never really cared for humans, especially those that think they can take on gods. Perhaps you should go back inside and rethink your future - dead or worshipping. There's only one or the other, I will make no exception for one that is in league with my brother. If you wish for my company, I could leave one of the illusions for you while I go about my business.

[In fact, here have all of them as he starts back down the street, heading towards the television station. The Liar would easily be able to have people bow to his whims once they heard him speak.]</sub>

[The television station...? Something about this is familiar. Same dog, same old tricks. Stuttgart all over again. Quickly looking around, Cap takes a few steps back once he realizes his path.

Ignoring the illusions around him, he sets out into a sprint and leaps up. He steps off of the back of a park bench and successfully vaults himself up and over the illusions, leaving the path to Loki free. No matter what, he couldn't let him make his way to the television station.

The moment his boots hit the ground, he's sprinting, hands gripping the leather straps of his shield. He also knows he has to keep this contained; innocent people are in the city and the park!]

You're not going anywhere, Loki, not if I have anything to say about it!

<sub>[Loki's using a brisk step, not trying to draw too much attention towards him as he moves through the park. He's a god on a mission, and no red, white and blue clad quim is going to stop him.
