[...she frowns after a moment, lowering her staff.]

Mrm...that was kinda iffy, I know. I just wasn't feelin' that one! Weird.

[Cheria blinks. Then she takes a deep breath and crosses her arms over her chest, trying to make herself as tall as possible. Her voice lowers into an obscenely low sort of growl.]

That's because the sky leprechauns painted it that way, Sophie.

There sure are. Sky leprechauns are what make the sky go dark during nighttime.
