Yippee! [Pascal twirls again before adopting a kawaii-moe-desu-desu sort of pose and looking up at Cheria with wide eyes, an inquisitive finger held to her lips.] Captain, how come the sky is blue?

[Cheria blinks. Then she takes a deep breath and crosses her arms over her chest, trying to make herself as tall as possible. Her voice lowers into an obscenely low sort of growl.]

That's because the sky leprechauns painted it that way, Sophie.

There sure are. Sky leprechauns are what make the sky go dark during nighttime.

When it's nighttime, they paint the sky black. Then, when it's daytime, they paint it blue again.
