Y'know, it's bad enough that I don't think I'm good enough for this yet, and I don't know how he did it. And it's bad enough knowing that pretty much nobody else does, either. And the crap with my dad, and my uncle...
And all I wanna do is get better and save people's lives and be like... be like Spider-Man and everyone's acting like wanting to do good like him is the worst thing possible.
Fine. That's the kind of stuff he had to deal with anyway, right?
Saving people, protecting people, that's a million times more important than what people think about me.
Well, I'm kind of intimidated. The Peter Parker where I'm from was only a few years older than me, and he was like, a million times better than me at this!
Him at thirty is gonna be... what, a billion times better?
