Voice testing this "boy" :3c

[She may just be a bit exasperated with mun right now. Though she was promised she could see her siblings and thus she came.]

Well? You have me here. [She's impatient about this.]

It's not like you aren't doing a favor for me, by bringing me here. I suppose some thanks are in order. [Still unsure you deserve it though.]

I am sick to death of games, but you promised me my siblings. You said my family was here somewhere.

[She just runs a hand through her short scraggly locks, brushing them out of her face.]

...Arya?

[Oh wow. You made good on your promise, Mundane!!]

Sansa... [Have a sad smile, sister. And she just self consciously runs her fingers through her short hair again.]

[ She hadn't expected to see Arya, although some part of her was relieved that her sister seemed to be safe ]

...Are you well?

[She was still waiting for Sansa to nitpick about how unladylike she must look right now in boys clothing and short hair.]

Well enough, I think.

[Her sister looked older some how but still the same Sansa.]

And you?

[There's the hint of a smile on Jon's lips. Oh Arya, he's missing you so much at times.]

You? Remembering your courtesies? The South has done you strangeness, sweet sister.

[Excuse her she's going to just hug you right now.

Her response is muffled due to the fact that her face is squished into his shoulder after leaping into his arms. Sansa would cringe at how unlady like she is.]

Too much pretending I'm someone else, probably. I missed you.

[Jon groans as she jumps in his arms, much like she did in Winterfell the last time they saw each other. He's quick to wrap his arms around her small form and the hold tightens as he closes his eyes. Gods, he's missed her and he's been so worried about her.]

It was that awful?

[It's an hollowed question: of course the South was awful for his family. They would never be the same now.]

[She'd missed him more than words could say. Every night she'd lie awake, wondering if he was alive and well and saying the names of all those whom she'd wished dead for the sake of their family. It was good to be held like this again. She felt like Arya Stark of Winterfell and not Arry the orphan. She pulls back enough to speak to his face, reveling at that familiar dark head of hair and the small smile in his features.]

It was difficult but nothing I couldn't handle.

[Even if she'd spent many a night and day fearing she might not see the next - that the Lannisters would catch her at last. She felt like the words would start rushing out of her, the more she spoke. She'd tell him all of it, now that she finally could.]

I was traveling with some boys - [And murders, and rapists, and any manner of misfit...] and we were being sent to go past the wall. To be in the Night Watch.

[She'd almost wanted to tell him about their father, not sure if he knew or not and still unable to voice it. There were some things she was guilty of cowardice when it came down to it. Her heart still hurt to think of it.]

[She's been in his thoughts ever since he's left for the Wall, just as Robb and Bran, Sansa and Rickon are, but ever since news from King's Landing has reached him, he's even more worried. He knows Arya is a strong girl, that she'd survive a lot on her own, he has no doubts, but still, he prayed the Old Gods that she'd find her way back to Winterfell.]

Good.

[He shifts her so he can hold her like he used to when she was a small girl, even though he's pretty sure she's taken a few inches since last he saw her. She's thinner than what he remembers and as he takes in how she looks, he finally notices the short hair, the boy's clothes. Clever girl.]

The Wall is no place for ladies, Arya. [He frowns. He doesn't like the idea of his baby sister traveling with men that are to take the Black. He knows better than anyone what kind of boys are brought to Castle Black.] Though I suppose I should commend you for fooling Yoren into thinking you were a boy.

[Yes. She's so clever. Their father orchestrated the whole thing even if he'd intended to leave with her and for her not to be going to the Wall. It was the best Yoren could come up with.]

Good thing to them, I'm not a lady. I'm Arry the orphan, being sent to the Wall to be trained as a Night's Watch recruit.

[She unfastens Needle from it's place at her side to give herself a bit more comfort being latched onto her brother like this. Better to hug him!]

I didn't trick him, actually. It was something we did spur of the moment because of father- [Her words catch. She can't say it. because of Father's execution. Say it, Arya.]

[Jon gives her an unimpressed look]

Fine. The Wall is no place for girls. [He emphasizes on the word to make his point, though his tone is mildly teasing.

There's some pride and relief to see that Arya still has Needle with her. Jon wonders if she heeded his advice and practice at it every day. His own sward, Longclaw, is still faithfully strapped to his back.]

So he would have brought you to Winterfell?

[He hugs her more closely as she speaks of their father. He can't say much about him out loud too, and he knows her pain.]

It's all right, Arya. I am sure Father would be relieved if he could know that you are safe now. [Safe, well and away from the Lannisters, or so Jon thinks.]

[Momentary glower to match your unimpressed look, brother.]

I think. Had things not gotten so derailed. [She sighs, reluctantly freeing herself from their embrace.] I do not know how safe we are, given what my lady writer has told me. Though it would be nice if we were to be in the same place once more.

[Nowhere could be worse than the things she's seen since leaving Winterfell.]

[Jon manages to keep the amused smile on his lips to a minimum. Arya's glower isn't scaring him, obviously. He let goes of her, as reluctantly as her, but his sister is almost a woman grown now and he probably should treat her as much.

He nods slowly]

As long as we are together, we will keep one another safe, I am sure. [And by that he means that he's going to keep a close eye on her] And who knows, perhaps the rest of our family will join us too.

[She considers his words a moment, torn between wanting to see her family again and wanting them safe and away from wherever her Lady Writer intends to send her though it cannot be worse than what she's left behind.]

You mean to follow me everywhere, don't you? [She smiles. Oh, big brother she is on to you.]

[He's learned that there's nothing he can do to stop his mundane from sending him to terrible places. But nothing can't be as bad as the He gives a sort of faked offended air, though his smile is showing]

I would never think of doing such thing, Arya! I'll just merely keep you company all the time.

[Family is all that they will have in this world]

[She gives him a small smile, appreciating the joking and the familiarity of it.]

I am unopposed to that. I've missed you...

[And she lapses into a silence for a moment before it occurs to her that they've been talking about her and what she's been doing and yet she hadn't the mind to ask him what The Wall had been like.]

How have things been with you in that place? The Wall... and wherever else your Writer has sent you.

[She knew now that there were dangerous men in that place - men far less honorable and kind than her brother.]

If you're sick of games, you've come to the wrong place.

That's something I can agree with and yet my Lady Writer delivered on her promise to see my siblings again.

Then be grateful for what you have. Before it gets taken from you again.

I'm afraid I don't understand your reasoning behind a quarrel.

[And the fact that she just said she could lose Jon again makes her seethe. She may have matured a bit in her time with Yoren, Gendry, Hot Pie and the others but that didn't mean her temper was curved even slightly. She's trying very hard to be civil right now. Stick 'em with the pointy end. Yes, she did have Needle on hand if this girl gave her need for it.]

A quarrel? I'm giving you advice, not trying to start a fight.

"Out of the goodness of my heart" not a good enough reason for you?

[nope, she doesn't. but that won't stop her from making sarcastic comments about it.]

[So much sarcasm. And she even throws in a gentlemanly bow since she's technically supposed to be a boy. She's let her guard down given that her siblings made an appearance but she won't let it down for this one.]

[all right. this kid has spunk, johanna will give him—? her? that, at least.]

I've been called a lot of things, but my lady is a new one.

[Confused for a moment. Are people as ill mannered as Arya herself is? Where ever this girl comes from.]

Oh. Well then I guess my intent to be insulting was ineffective.

[But not her attempt at being blunt~]
