[He's getting more riled up now. Loki knows where it hurts. Thor honestly looks like he's a moment away from striking his brother. It's a surprise to even him when he comes out with this instead.]

[Loki looks almost stricken and a little chastined and it's mostly real but he'll play it off as fake if you point it out. In any case, it takes him a moment to respond.]

You know not what you scoff at, brother. He will do much worse than kill me if he ever finds me and being one to have skirted Asgard's defenses before, I'm not overly confident they will keep him out. And I thought perhaps the two of us could manage it together.

But that obviously won't work if I haven't any of my power.
