... A sentiment I return. If it had been reasonable for me to contact her in my time on Earth, I would not have hesitated. But it would have placed her in danger far beyond that which she had known before.
I owe you a debt of thanks for this, as well. Keeping her safe.

Just doing my job to protect and serve; besides, it wouldn't have been very pleasant in that flying ship if you were worried for her safety, and I'm a man who prefers calm environments.

It is a worthy goal. Though I am glad your Shield-brothers saw the folly in planning to use the Tessaract to do so. It will be kept under watchful guard, just as my brother, and there are few places in any world that stand more secure than the All-Father's treasure room.
