...and how long has it been. I must admit, I had my doubts whether you'd ever turn my way again. But, now that I have your attention once more, allow me to express my gratitude for it, mostly because listening to the others and their infernal caterwauling became more than irritating months ago. And I will candidly admit that it was only my regard for you, our voice, that any of them escaped a sound trouncing.
Yet I digress. We've business to attend, hm? Why else would you call for me? Or perhaps it's simply nostalgia, a longing for what once was-ah, the glory days indeed. But let us not look behind, we've survived trial and tribulation and emerged while not unscathed, but triumphant, wiser and tempered--
--yes, I know I'm waxing poetic, it's been almost a year since you've bloody well listened, woman.
Back to work, then. Such suits me fine; I'm more than ready for it. Give me a direction, and let's go.
