I don't see how you think I'll be able to help that world. With my magic being hampered, I don't think I'll even be able to heal anyone and I don't know what you expect for me to do about the ghosts there. Besides, you said it yourself: Terra and Ven need me. I made a promise.

[But even with that promise, considering where she is, it might be her only option. And besides that, she is supposed to be a Keyblade Master and protector of the worlds.]

I'll do my best. I'll make sure it doesn't fall into the darkness.

I fail to understand why so many people think of darkness as a bad thing.

If the darkness takes over the light, then people can be hurt. Whole worlds can be destroyed. But balance is something to strive for, not necessarily the eradication of the darkness.

Exactly, light is all well and good, but without darkness, light cannot exist, and vice versa.

Though, when light and darkness combine, that's when the real beauty occurs.

Beauty?

Of course. In my humble opinion, little is more beautiful than a full moon illuminating the darkness.

Or the stars. That's something I can definitely agree with.

Darkness isn't "evil", it just receives a bad reputation. It is people and other beings who use it for their own purposes, thus corrupting it in the process.

Where I come from, the darkness has always been used for cruel reasons. But...a friend of mine started to use the darkness too and I know he's not doing it for evil.

Oh? And how do you feel about that?

Fall into darkness? But I'm pretty sure the worlds are doing better now. [ Sora interfered, after all, and set things right. At least if the islands being restored is any indication. ]

Who are you anyway? [ This lady looks familiar... but she can't put her finger on it. ]

I hope so. But the worlds can always be in danger. With the light will always be the darkness; we can just hope that they will always remain in balance.

[But you look familiar too! In fact, she thinks she recognizes her own magic on her. She gives the girl a smile.]

About balance, huh. I guess that makes sense. [ She doesn't really know. But then there's still so much she's yet to learn. Considering she was in comatose for most of the journey and all.

Aqua... Huh. She squints her eyes just a little, thoughtfully. But it's only brief before she's giving the older woman a smile. ] I'm Kairi.

[She gives her a reassuring glance.]

I once thought that the darkness deserved to be destroyed or defeated...but there was someone who taught me that it's all right to wield the darkness, so long as it's used responsibly. And so long as there is balance.

[But at the name, Aqua looks both surprised and confused. She can't be Kairi. She just saw her days ago!]

Alright to use it... [ All she can think of is Ansem. Ansem using Riku, stealing his body for his own means. Watching as all Riku could do was hold him back, giving her time to run. It's hard for her to believe that if the little frown that appears on her face is any indication.

But the thought is all but forgotten when she's blindsided with that sudden question. It's one that makes her take an all-too-aware step back. ] I was- but wait, how do you know that? [ Aqua seems harmless. In fact, there's something that just radiates from her, a welcoming presence. But the words are still jarring. ]

I visited Radiant Garden just a short time ago. I met you there.

[She kneels down to look at the girl, to look her in the eyes. Those bright blue irises look back at her and she knows, somewhere in her heart, that this girl is the same one she met before. But that should be impossible. She hasn't been time traveling.]

You were much younger than you are now. You gave me flowers because I made sure you were safe.

[ It's funny how a case of deja vu seems to sweep over her as Aqua kneels before her. And Kairi can't help but look into her eyes just as intently as she does, hers. Usually something not easy to do with a stranger.. but then Aqua doesn't quite feel like a stranger. She looks her over again, a faint bell ringing off. It's enough to get her own eyes widening slightly. ]

Come to think of it... [ She reaches out, almost touching the emblem on her chest. ] I think I remember a lady wearing a symbol like this.

... I know that wherever ya go, you'll pull through Aqua. Yer too tough to not.
