Had a talk with another character recently~

This place 'as too many 'olidays. The list keeps goin' on. [Mun opens mouth, pointing out that holidays aren't just a US thing. They must have had holidays on Pulse! Fang's eyes narrow.]

Gran Pulse Mun, an' we 'ave 'olidays but nothin' like the list you've got goin' 'ere. This whole mess of red 'earts, pink rabbits, green weeds and multi-colored fabrics all ova' the place. We weren't puttin' that stuff everywhere.

Almost like ya 'ave 'olidays jus' for the sake of 'avin' 'em. 'alf of 'em don't even make any sense. 'oldidays are s'ppose t'be for celebration an' respect. Not for everyone t'be stressed out an' upset.

I kind of liked the pink rabbits. And the ones with all of the candy!

But that's all of 'em.

Then I guess I like all of 'em! They can be fun, too. People just need to learn how to relax.

So it's not really the holidays that are bad... Just that nobody knows how to enjoy themselves. See?

But isn't it the people that make the 'olidays? [It's a tiny bit of a rhetorical question but, there's a point there, obviously.... We'll talk about the rabbits and candy later.]

I do understand your concern, though. There seems to be a lot of unspoken etiquette in regards to them, particularly when gift exchanges are involved.

There's a simple solution for that, get people t'tell ya what they want. Can't get the wrong thing then. [Yes she's... over simplifying this.]
