Gotta admit, it's nice being a little older, a little wiser where you've returned me. Hasn't helped repair my friendship with those two kids, but it'll come with time, I'm sure.

Just wish I had a few students to teach, you know? It's hard to do the "teacher" thing, when I've no "special class" to call my own. You might do well to do some recruiting, otherwise I'll be stuck doing a whole lot of nothing, aside of backpedaling on old relationships.

Being a student's not just about skills, mate. When I was a student, I already had power enough to level a building without blinking. You come to learn judgement, knowing when and how to use those powers of yours to the greatest benefit of all they'll affect. It's not an easy lesson to learn, I know, but it's a necessary evil.

When has fate ever shown us any kindness? Not that I'm complaining, mind you. I've made my peace with things as they are, but still, to think that one of us might be spared that nasty piece of business is asking too much. Not when you consider just who was responsible.

Nah, that's not what this's about, Bobby. I'm talking about people I've known at this "magic castle" the mun's had me at for a little over a year now. I was gone for about six months while the mun got his head together, and now I'm back there. There's a pair of kids there I screwed over pretty bad playing "hero", and now all I can seem to do is bleedin' apologize for something that happened a long time ago.

As for Paige and all the other disasters I got myself into...well...they're not really something I think about, if I can help it. Only reason Paige and I can even be in the same building together is because it's not a thing any more.
