Moving is HARD though D8

With how much hand-wringing you're doing over this move, I'm surprised you even still have hands at all.

Please, try to relax. I am sure that everything will be perfectly fine. Perhaps you ought to go and busy yourself with something else for a time? I do not mind waiting for you to return.

I have things I must attend to myself, after all. You do not have to entertain me... Save your game hunt for another day.

It is not necessary that my schedule be full all the time.
angleofscience: (hmm - analyzing data)

Or staying up till 03.30 knowing you have get up at 09.00. D:

[Well, Just as they cannot really control their mundanes, at least they cann't actually harm them either and what happens in a 'game' stays there.]

It's been quite facinating to observe, this switch and considering what seems to have been going on, it might be for the best, really. Not that I begrudge anyone to react with upset and confusion.

[A helmtilt, well that was certainly a new way of dealing with staying up excessively late.]

Not one I've encountered myself, and it sounds quite a bit more... inconvenient to deal with for you, if less self-recriminating upon the part of your mun.

[Oh, yes, rampant fanfiction or fanart searching... or reading.]

That'd be preferable, but with the number of corroborating observations of other mundanes... it does not seem so.

[Sigh.]
angleofscience: (too little input - find more data)

/gasp my icons! :o Sure go ahead. Distraction by shiny things is killer.

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 03:29 pm (UTC)(link)
((ooc: Anything not fanart however is of Dreamwave Jetfire and there are differences in design between him and G1 Skyfire. But go ahead! :) ))

While resisting change is a natural response to it as all things have a certain built-in inertia, one would think that at some point as the situation becomes untenable...

[Condoleances. At least his own tends to merely wail over it, not feel proud.]

... Well, that's surely some sort of accomplishment. [Jetfire's tone of voice implies it's not necessarily a good one, however.]

Mmm... perhaps, but then there would need to be a consensus of what would count as a "younger", or "young" mundane, and at what point the cut-off should be, considering my own, for example, is well beyond the arbitrary age the majority of humans use as a marker for adult responsibilities...

I cannot resist

Primus, the amount of science right here is going to cause the entire universe just to implode or rupture the fabric of reality itself.

The two of you will be the destruction of all.

angleofscience: (said something Starscream?)

All the trolling, all the time

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 04:23 pm (UTC)(link)
Or to join in.

[Have a pointed look, Starscream.]

But it's usually polite to not interuppt a conversation with an insult.
angleofscience: (talking - what science is interesting)

8O Oh nooooo

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 04:21 pm (UTC)(link)
((ooc: We're just lucky Jetfire didn't appear before vol three of DW, 'cause otherwise the art would have just about as terrible! Sure I do~ I'll shoot off a message.))

While a certain willingness and ability to stand against odds and an untenable situation is certainly impressive, I think at some point reason should prevail and, if not defeat, a reconsideration of one's options should be considered and accepted.

[At least they are on the same page, here not so strange considering.]

Yes, I believe so. Sure, the situation would tempt me to draw a premature conclusion, but in the interest of a proper analysis, the pool of available players I have observed through my mundane's interaction is too small as of yet.
angleofscience: (inquisitive - how much data?)

Considering what has been seen from that other site, the problem "fixing itself" seem unlikely, at least to a satisfactorily degree. Then there is how some of the users were treated, too.

[Considering they're different universe alternates, one would assume so, yes!]

And even putting our two disparate pools together won't be enough to give a proper set to draw conclusions from, unfortunately... But I hope she does not, both for your sake and hers.

[Jetfire thinks that mun of yours need a gentle tap on her head and a reminder to behave.]
angleofscience: (agnostic scientist - disregard no angles)

;o;

One would think so; it would be the decent and correct thing to do, but corporations seem caught up in their own notions of business, sometimes, to the detriment of users or consumers.

[Not such an alien concept, really.]

One other game may not hurt anything, as long as she doesn't over-reach herself, I hope it'll be somewhere... agreeable, at least. Some are less than savory or reasonable.

[Deep, disapproving frown.]
aircommander: (starscream 36 //)

Trololol

[personal profile] aircommander 2012-01-12 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
I hope that criteria includes My Little Ponies the most horrible place in existence.

Though termination would be a more fitting end for traitor.
aircommander: (starscream 05 //)

Its how i say i love you

[personal profile] aircommander 2012-01-13 01:03 am (UTC)(link)
Yes. You're a weak minded traitor.

You're better off with the rest of the scrap who call themselves Autobots.
aircommander: (starscream 04 //)

like a burning flaaame

[personal profile] aircommander 2012-01-13 05:50 am (UTC)(link)
Tch. Morals.

That's only a sign of how weak you are.

You wouldn't last a day in the Decepticons.

[Yes, he failed to see the irony in that statement.]
angleofscience: (I was thawed for this?! - frustration)

/sobs into hands

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 09:04 pm (UTC)(link)
I would be inclined to agree, yes, but that seems to be the only conclusion to be taken. Or at least, do not wish to retain their current userbase as customers in any greater capacity.

... Ah. I see. [Jetfire'll just... sigh and rub the lower half of his faceplates with his hand.]

Most mundanes seem to have an innate desire to make things as uncomfortable for us as they can.

[sympathetic disapproval, fellow alternate.]
angleofscience: (no time for talking - bailing you out)

I shall survive!

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 09:55 pm (UTC)(link)
Quite. It's been interesting, if understandably frustrating for our mundanes and the other users, to watch, frankly.

[Huff. Some people mundanes, honestly.]

Indeed not. While pushing oneself is in some matters both useful and necessary there's really no need for them to to the lengths that they do.

[Narrow frown and Jetfire's crosses his arms.]
angleofscience: (hmm - not as planned...)

/throws confetti

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 10:43 pm (UTC)(link)
Mm. Despite the fact that most mundanes seem quite agreeable and like decent human beings, they seem almost driven in some instances to distress us as much as possible.

[And then he pauses, but it doesn't take long to figure out what "personal weaknesses" might mean, and his wings twitches slightly, followed by a grimace.]

I see. That's... displeasing. [The tone of voice there implies a lot more than just "displeasing", but it's a sensitive topic and he doesn't feel particularly at ease with it.]

I don't understand how distress concerning such a... trauma... is amusing at all.
