Moving is HARD though D8

With how much hand-wringing you're doing over this move, I'm surprised you even still have hands at all.

Please, try to relax. I am sure that everything will be perfectly fine. Perhaps you ought to go and busy yourself with something else for a time? I do not mind waiting for you to return.

I have things I must attend to myself, after all. You do not have to entertain me... Save your game hunt for another day.

It is not necessary that my schedule be full all the time.

[This is... interesting. He knew the probabilities of course, which rose exponentially in a place like this, but still.]

Change seems something most have some trouble adapting to, especially when it comes to their hobbies.

[He knows this well, his mun doesn't take well to certain changes either.]

It is somewhat amusing when they believe we need their attention at all hours, all days, when most of us would be perfectly satisfied being left alone to pursue interests, current events, or just function.

[It's amusing, really, in a way, though Jetfire's small smile is more dry than honestly amused, even if things haven't been so bad for him.]

You could always just shoot your mun and put them out of their misery.

What's that term? Oh right -- It'd be the humane thing to do.

Why is it that no matter the universe, none of you have a sense of humor?
angleofscience: (battle is a science - but better at one)

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 01:16 am (UTC)(link)
[This is, most assuredly, new for Jetfire too, but he's been hanging around in here and have heard enough for the others in the headspace that he hadn't just been prepared for it, but looking forward to it.]

Ah, yes. There are differences... But frankly, I don't see the issue. That's what makes it interesting, being able to learn the differences, compare and then either accept or reject it.

[His own mun has been on this site before, perhaps that's why she's been a lot less recalcitrant about the change...]

... All of them? Considering the average amount of time needed to dedicate oneself to one place, let alone more, and that the needed time would, approximately, double with each place... YOur mundane, like any human, need to sleep, I assume.

Perhaps you should point out to her that an Earth cycle is limited in time, and she needs the hours she is awake to do other things as well.
angleofscience: (that's enough Starscream - size abuse)

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 01:18 am (UTC)(link)
Perhaps because your sense of humour can just as well lead to someone actually dead than just joking about it, Starscream?

Besides, I don't see why you're complaining... You only really have to deal with me, usually, and I know when you're joking, or not.

[Doesn't mean you won't get a Look, though, Starscream.]

[personal profile] aerospace 2012-01-12 01:20 am (UTC)(link)
Do you even know what a joke is?

And don't you give me some sort of scientific dictionary definition either.

Go away or I'll tell Rapunzel that you kick kittens down flights of stairs.
angleofscience: (you owe me Starscream)

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 01:26 am (UTC)(link)
Execpt this space is null and void regarding what actually happens over there.

[You know that Look mentioned earlier? Have a variation of it. You're not fooling him, Starscream. :| ]

Besides, what are you complaining about? I was merely commenting on something that most certainly involves me too, and it's hard to avoid hearing it.

[personal profile] aerospace 2012-01-12 01:33 am (UTC)(link)
I'm sorry, I didn't quite catch all of that. The sound of techno-babble was over taking everything else.

... I wonder where it was coming from.

[personal profile] aerospace 2012-01-12 01:41 am (UTC)(link)
Bah. I have a sense of humor.

For example, have you ever noticed that Shockwave's face looks like a giant, purple megaphone?

... Well his lack of a face. Whatever.
angleofscience: (determined - gimmie my dataz slaggit)

sleep is for people who don't get distracted by shiny things ;;

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 01:42 am (UTC)(link)
[Headmates who were there before you are always exceedingly useful... at least if they're willing to share information.]

It's decent enough, and the differences seem more in flavour - with, perhaps, one or two substantial differences - that getting used to it ought to be of no greater concern. My own mundane was here before, and she moves quite easily between the two.

[Politeness is usually useful, insofar as it is also the correct word used; one cannot compromise the integrity of an observation or point for being polite.]

That seems to be a common affliction among these mundanes, no matter if they work during times when most of their species is sleeping or not.

[Case in point. Jetfire eyes his own mundane.]

I can't hear anything over the sound of me not talking to you.
angleofscience: (neutral - totally thinking of science)

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 01:47 am (UTC)(link)
[Very mature, Starcsream. Very. mature. Are you a protoform or fully upgraded?]

Interesting, since that was still adressed to me. But I suppose threatening me with telling lies to an innocent, naive girl about me is easier than having an actual conversation.
aerospace: (starscream 149)

[personal profile] aerospace 2012-01-12 01:56 am (UTC)(link)
Actually I was talking to the other you, not ... you.

I'm still not talking to you.
angleofscience: (curious observation)

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 02:00 am (UTC)(link)
Being that I was in the vicinity and the statement does involve me, I think I was in my rights to comment on it.

[And now you'll just get a stare, Starcsream, for your continued claims of not talking to him. Honestly.]
aerospace: (starscream 98)

Your kingdom or your soul?

[personal profile] aerospace 2012-01-12 02:07 am (UTC)(link)
I'm beginning to think that I'd have better luck teaching Skywarp how to count than the course of this conversation going anywhere productive.
angleofscience: (smile - as predicted!)

Shiny robots and art!

[personal profile] angleofscience 2012-01-12 02:08 am (UTC)(link)
[Yes, that. Or you share the space with a terrible abomination that's a Herald of Unicron and a Megatron, too. Not just misinformation, but dangerous, as well.]

Time usually solves such issues, yes, and considering this [a wave around them, to indicate both them and... ahem, the coversation(s) further down] she seems to be doing well.

That seems to be the most pressing point; them attempting to spend as much time as possible conversing, or playing with others and battling the differences in time and distance... It's hard to fault them for that, however.

Mmh, yes. I'm not sure about you, but I have some practice with attempting to reason... and converse, with someone who likes to... forgo... full common sense and reason for percieved quick or desired results.

[What. He's absolutely not talking about someone in here. Nope.]
