Watching bad endings always brings out the best muses. Canon is Boktai
It really does, doesn't it Mundane? Hearing him agree to my offer was...music to my ears. And everything after was such fun.
But enough of that for now...you have things you need to do and me and my Django have things to do as well. [like hunting down that irritating brother of his.] But finding a home for me should be too hard, no? There are many places out there. Pick one that suits me, okay?
I trust you not to make any...mistakes. [he doesn't feel he needs to say what would happen if the mun did.]

[or the mun just likes playing creepy people.]

As such, I never agreed to your offer.
(Creepy people have plenty of perks. The best fun is when two creepy people get together.)

But if there's no confict for you then you're useless Django. Or at least that little title of yours is.
Really now? I rememeber things happened quite differently...you joined me and became my Dark Sun. Granted some things didn't go the way I would have liked but everything has worked out in my favour. All thanks to you, of course.

I'd prefer a world that didn't need me as opposed to one that did.
(Look who just became Batman, ladies and gentlemen.)
Then you remember incorrectly; Sabata and I defeated you and you were promptly purified. And Jormungandr was sealed away, leaving the world in peace once again.

Well...I guess this means, somewhere in all these places, you gave up. But thank you for reminding me....I need to come up with a way to deal with that annoying brother of yours.

Know that in my world, you were defeated and will never harm another innocent ever again. I would gladly do the same in your world.

I'm sure it must be a world flooded by darkness. If I must, I will be the morning sun that returns the world's splendor!

...and Django, please, lay off the stupid "Good will always triumph over evil!" speeches. They didn't get you far in this Dainn's world after all.]
It's actually quite beautiful...I'm sure Sabata will enjoy it when I find him. Or maybe I'll give him to Jormungandr. It gets quite hungry, you see....
no subject
I'm well aware of how hungry it can get. I'm aware of the fact that it can still be sealed away and that Sabata will never give up.

[really. you should have seen his face when you said yes. priceless.]

You doubt him now, but he is capable of great things; he has his own light with him and he will find a way.

A bad end, you say? Could it truly have been all bad if it ended in your favor?
no subject
Mmmm...I suppose not. Not everything ended the way I would have liked but I guess I'm being a little...nitpicky. But I have all the time in the world to correct it, so it shouldn't be too bad.

The last few survivors for you to torture, I assume? I read a book like that once..."I Have no Mouth and I Must Scream" is the title. Perhaps you've heard of it?
no subject
Something like that. But I don't think I've hear about that story before! What's it about?
no subject
It's about humans creating supercomputers to wage wars for them. One of them becomes self-aware, absorbs the other two supercomputers and wages a war against humans so complex, they couldn't fight back; only five humans survived.
Well...more like salvaged. This supercomputer, who named himself AM, used his godlike powers and intelligence to keep his victims barely alive at all times so he could torture them for all of eternity. It's quite morbid, but more interesting than the usual dystopian future stories.

It does sound interesting...do you know how this story ends, little girl?
no subject
I do. The five, after finding a canned food storage without finding a can opener, discover a loophole in AM's rules of keeping them alive: he prevented them from killing themselves, but not from killing each other.
As such, four of the five successfully kill each other, but AM finds out their plan before the fifth can die and transforms him into a blob-like monster that can bring no harm to itself at all. He narrates about how much more pathetic his life now is and states that he wishes to scream, but lacks a mouth to do so, hence the title.

Ahahha...! That is a wonderful story. Thank you for telling me it.
