Is it just me, or is the whole world getting funnier by the second? Pretending that their lives are peachy-keen and full of strawberries and rainbows while they plop down on their fat bottoms and watch the latest reality TV show.

[He pauses, and gives a short, soft laugh.]

I say give me a show, and watch what happens. I'd show them all the humor in their failure of a life. The priorities of people these days are nothing but a sick gag! A big joke. They always have been of course, but it's all so much worse now. Makes me want to show them more than ever how close we all are to being a bunch of sniveling, cackling madmen.

We're so close, I can feel it. I can smell it in the air~ All the people need is that one tiiiiiny little push out the window to start their free-fall. Who better to give them that push than me?

That just made him feel worse. "That just means you came out of it stronger! And that your mun is mean." As childish as that last part sounded, Joker still isn't very pleased with any of this information; she was supposed to be beyond repair! Now she was happy, and Gordon was probably happy and even worse Batman was probably happy too!

(OOC: Indeed! I gave certain issues of their new 52 a shot but eh, mostly annoyed with it all. My Joker is, for the most part, very Killing Joke-esque. Really he's a lot of things since he's sort of moody in a special way..dunno what you thought about Harley but they had her messing around with uh, Deadshot I think in the new-52? Deadshot!

Let's just say our Harley player was angry as all hell at what they did. She's crazy, but she has standards! (Actually, that goes for mun and player...)

Anything can and will happen in a universe where characters are allowed to evolve, but cheep sex is not evolution. In that case it was out of character, sexist, demeaning and a few other choice adjectives, but mostly, it was non-compelling. I'm sure someone liked it, but...I'm back to liking my DIY.

"Well, he did force to me to sit and listen to all of that without so much as a squirt of acid in your face. He's about as cruel as they get!" Joker, amused with himself, finds it in him to laugh a bit at that. That and the thought of her Dad's reaction to what he did to her. He had that at least.

(OOC: Yeah, someone probably did somewhere. I know someone that liked the new Starfire. The Catwoman stuff with the close-ups didn't bother me cuz I always figured she was that kinda character anyway/use of distracting type elements. Sex with Batman on a roof though? No sense! It made me just set down everything, even though I am curious as to what Joker's doing. Last I read, he had his face surgically removed.)

What is it about the soldiers in these wars, when they can start understanding their enemy more than the people they fight for? And, Good God, understanding the Joker!

"Despite myself, I understand stories. Villain are needed to make heroes, and whether or not there is a mun behind you, you exist in my world. I think I want you there just to watch you get defeated again and again." Even if she might not get her wish. Old, crazy as hell Watchmen-like Jokers fit the dynamic just fine.

(OOC: The new Starfire killed off some of my brain cells. You know how sometimes playing a character makes things much worse? That was my day.

I could go on about media companies trying to bend fannish things for the 18-34 year old, white, hetrosexual male audience. It boils down to, "Oh, Bullwinkle, that trick never works!")

"Sounds kinda rude to me. Maybe I should think of something new to do to you to make up for lost time. It really is a terrible shame you're walking again." It was enough to make a grown man cry, but Joker wasn't much on tears.

"Don't you miss sitting in this thing? All the sores, your butt getting fatter in that bad, cringing sort of way." He gives a short bit of a laugh at that.
