Second of all, could I get a little more warning about your music choices in the future? I'm not saying that, er, "Jack Off Jill" is bad--some of their songs were actually pretty catchy--but a quick heads-up would've been nice.

You know, I've heard that sometimes -- um -- compensation gets offered. I've learned with mine that it doesn't always happen in the actualness of getting said compensation, but... Like - for instance, the girl running the circus upstairs here, where I am? She offered me cookies if I cooperated.

Oh, a pop culture reference! I haven't had time to catch up on what I've missed yet, so anything past 1944 goes right over my head.

Oh, no, I got pulled from 2010, but before that I'd been frozen since fairly early in 1945. I was just too busy with the war at that point to catch anything new, unlike in '44.

I prefer music with a beat at least. Easier to practice fighting forms to. Usually it's the only time I listen to music. Though I like real Blues. There's a few clubs in New York I like with a live house band that does awesome older music. Kind of feel misplaced when I go because I'm one of the few under forty crowd.

It could be worse. If I met up with any other surviving soldiers from the war, I'd look like their grandson.

That's not so bad. Though you visit any in a home... careful of the ladies. They'll probably plot ways to keep you around to do things for them all the time.
