yet another [community profile] distantskies app

First of all, don't worry so much about this game thing. It would be nice to have a home base, but I've been enjoying meeting people out here and I wouldn't mind staying a while. And don't even think about getting back to my threads until you've had a good night's sleep; they aren't going anywhere and you've clearly worn yourself out.

Second of all, could I get a little more warning about your music choices in the future? I'm not saying that, er, "Jack Off Jill" is bad--some of their songs were actually pretty catchy--but a quick heads-up would've been nice.

Thank you for your time. Now get some rest.

You know, I've heard that sometimes -- um -- compensation gets offered. I've learned with mine that it doesn't always happen in the actualness of getting said compensation, but... Like - for instance, the girl running the circus upstairs here, where I am? She offered me cookies if I cooperated.

As of yet, there is no chocolate nor chippiness to be seen, but - hey! Maybe yours'll actually honor a deal.

*Don't mind Miss Worthington, she's going to be over here amused that Captain America said "Jack off", hey, her roommates at the U are immature and it's rubbing off on the young lawyer!*

Better than what mine's listening to at the moment. Any more Garbage and I'm going to scream. *Okay no she's not but she's a little tired of the Crow soundtrack now.*

*Yeah but hearing one of her Father's heroes be crude is just amusing to her!*

I'm sorry I didn't mean to make you seem old. It's amusing. Though I think I would have really lost it if you had been Mr. Stark admitting to liking big band music. He doesn't seem like the type that would be that nostalgic.

I prefer music with a beat at least. Easier to practice fighting forms to. Usually it's the only time I listen to music. Though I like real Blues. There's a few clubs in New York I like with a live house band that does awesome older music. Kind of feel misplaced when I go because I'm one of the few under forty crowd.

That's not so bad. Though you visit any in a home... careful of the ladies. They'll probably plot ways to keep you around to do things for them all the time.

*She grins* Happens to my uncle whenever he gets conned by my little sister into volunteering. They'll go for an hour, get out of there eight hours later with her bored and him complaining about old ladies and their cats.

Yeah, they don't get along with my family that well. *Might be a little because of 'Grandpa Logan' or Aunt Kitty but hey! Not that Liz'll complain.*

I can get you the address of the place they go to. Pretty sure they'd love to have you help out.

Well unless your New York's under water, I'm pretty sure all the streets are in the same place. *Pulls out one of her business cards jotting the address on the back, since it's the only thing she had to write on in her purse.*

Maybe the giant lion I have got me now can tell me where to get cookie supplies and I'll bake 'em myself! At least it's incentive that might actually happen. [ Not that... she's any good at baking, really, but she can... try... ]

Hey that would kind of be cool. Little weird, but still cool. I'd worry if it was Amish country. Nothing there to do. *Hey she loves her blackberry.*

so see, nothing to do. *She's actually done that before. Week long camp in a native village because the Professor thought her group needed a lesson without tech. Her team insists on body armor on fishing trips with her now too.*

... Oh. Because that totally makes sense. I could also offer brushing up of the popculture-related skillage as incentive, I guess. But it's not as tasty as cookies.

You're so very not alone in that. Trust me.
