Is being bothered about it going to do anything? No, rhetorical question, of course it's not, so there's no point in it. Indecisiveness is a common trait because stupidity and uncertainty are both common and correlating traits, it's not exactly anything to puzzle over.

Only one in the world, yep. Working with the actual police force day in and day out is mind-numbingly tedious. I let them come to me when they're really, truly stuck on something, because that all but guarantees me an interesting case.
