My exploits? Uh...well, I've been helping to quell the Stormcloak rebellion. I've saved a couple towns from dragon attacks...and I'm halfway into the Ratway in Riften to find someone where Mun last saved.

*And he managed to piss off the Thalmor before ever encountering them, somehow. That hunting party had been quite the unwelcome surprise. And then he gave his real name to Elenwen when he infiltrated that party. Good thing she obviously didn't care. Ma'sud: Good at sneaking, bad at espionage.*

Hmm. I thought you would of been on the side of the Stormcloaks. Especially when the Empire tried to kill you for just being in the vicinity of that ambush.

But there's a difference between being called a cat every now and then and being forced to live in a series of cramped, poorly-lit alleys. I may be a Khajiit, but there's nothing beyond the insults. It doesn't keep the Jarls from seeing me, it doesn't keep people from talking to me.

The way the Dunmer in Windhelm are treated is inexcusable.

That is a fair point. But what of the complacency to the High Elves that the Empire has? I'm sure you've come across one of those groups of Inquisitors dragging some poor soul to be killed or tortured just because he worships someone they don't like.

I haven't, yet. But I've met perfectly agreeable Altmer, too. Besides, I wouldn't call it complacency so much as common sense. If the Stormcloaks got their way, the Thalmor would have their eyes on Skyrim all the time. Right now, I couldn't care less about the Dominion or the Empire. I'd just rather not have eyes where they don't need to be.

But are those Altmer members of the government? Every race has an agreeable set of folks and less agreeable set.

However a conflict between the Empire and the Dominion WILL happen at some point.

Of course. But I can't waste time worrying about that. The Gray Quarter? That's happening now. The rebellion? Now. The dragons? Now. I literally have bigger problems.
