I'm a sight better judge of these things than you are, love. And why shouldn't I be? Haven't I been alive long enough? Don't I have a better sense of what's too much to handle? You can do it, and I'm apt to get bored with you, if you don't.

Writer Boy is behaving in the most unfortunate way. First he says we'll go some place, then he whistles a different tune. He's so hot and cold, I'm apt to catch a fever.

Kind of noticed they're fickle, these writers. Mine was going on about oh, four different places before we finally decided on the Tower. Course, it took a bleeding long time for the twit to get decided.

They let me keep her! Problem is though we won't be able to see the Cinematic Records. Bit of a mess if you ask me, getting rid of something like that completely.

Course, I'd see why your writer'd fret about something like that. Kind makes people busier around that time when it starts all over again.

How are you supposed to do your job? Well, here's the upside: If there are no Cinematic Records, there's no judgement. No judgement, no mistakes. And where there is absolutely no way of quantifying your errors, there can't be any office work. Does Will know about this, hm? And you say I've got my knickers twisted. His must be tied in sailors' knots, by now~.

Five, is it? Saying he's busy is a load of rubbish, anyway. He's going to cosmetology school. There won't be a precious lot of work to do from home.

Guess there's no work to be done at all if we don't get to see the Cinematic Records, much less not having the To Die list to refer to.

Haven't told Mister Spears yet though. He's gonna find himself in a right tizzy once he does, I'm willing to bet. A world where you don't have to do a minute's reaping. That'd prolly be bloody unsettling for him.

[ Tilting his head as he takes another swig from the can, nudging the rest over. ]

Do bring him around to me, when you tell him. I'm positively quivering in anticipation of his reaction. The face he'll make. The disgust in his voice! I wonder what's worse for him - not working, or being made to watch others not work?

It is one of Writer Boy's more charming interests, I'll give him that.

Well, not much of a vacation considering the world's supposed to have been destroyed. Makes you wonder who did our job for that, eh? All those souls... someone should've been around to gather those.

Yeah, I'd pay a few quid to see that. Mister Spears not knowing what to do with himself because there isn't any work to do. But maybe he'll lighten up. Finally get to relax or something.
