All right, you turned the application in. Bloody good for you. About time I show up to sort this mess out (and I'm going to do a better job at it than my brother or that crazy mage, thank you very much.)

Now sit down while I list, point by point, all the parts that are wrong.

- I do not have an inferiority complex!
- I am not jealous of Garrett!
- I am not whiny!
- I do not complain all the time!
- I am not "a bit of a tit" and it's not a justifiable thing to say!
- I do too have charisma!
- I am not IMMATURE.

And last, but certainly not least, this is the worst journal name ever!

I do not make it easy! Maker, all I want is to step out of my stupid brother's big fat shadow! Is that really so hard to understand?

Then take responsibilities for your actions, Carver. You say you wish to escape your brother's shadow yet until you left you were content to stand behind him and complain about his decisions without making any of your own.

[ah, but... for her it's been years. She doesn't know what his life has held for him, so there's a pause before she sighs. You can practically hear her massaging her forehead]

But no doubt... being with the Grey Wardens has given you a place where you can make your own decision. Tell me, how have you fared in their company?

What else was I supposed to do? You wouldn't let me in the guard, and if I had made my own decisions, everybody would have yelled at me for "betraying" my brother! That fathead never listened to me at all.

[An angry huff.]

I finally have something to do that's not cowing to my brother's orders, if that's what you mean.

[Another pause, and he sighs, sounding a little more chill.] It's nice to finally be recognized for what I can do and not who I'm related to.
