You know, as well as I, that this entire idea is, hardly a good one. I don't even understand half the terms you are using to describe your present communication problem....Posting problem then, and you, want to put me, into a new place, with Helen and Nikola and, Helen's daughter you say. [And no he's not sure what to make of that information.]

And part of me is shown with an animal, which you have not chosen yet, though both of your choices, I admit, are rather, interesting and fitting, yes I do agree. Though I wonder what the others are, choosing, the other mundanes I mean yes. It is a very, fascinating thing, this choice in daemon...

But back to the point at hand, there is no viable reason to send me, from the time you have chosen, there. I have things to do, terms to learn, Helen's to watch over and insure one of them lives to come back and see me in this time, it is utterly preposterous of you to do this. Let me be, please.

It's alright, I can understand the confusion. And, all sorts of animals, dogs, cats, fish, birds, anything that is, unusual.

We have similar in my own world, according to my friends father, and what I have seen so far.

And I must say, I have never met a wizard before. Is that what your school is for? Others of your kind?

Vampires too? Those ones really interest me because even among us they're rare.

Yeah. It's called Hogwarts. And I'm finally going to be a student there though I already know a lot of the stuff from living there all my life. Strangest thing is going to be living away from Dad.

What do you mean "an example of"? Like a halfblood? Because that's me too. James was a wizard but my mother was a Muggle-born.

I'll have classes with him but I've done that at weekends since I was five years old. I know more than some third years. In Potions anyway.

In a way yes, he is, as he is, far to removed from his vampiric ancestors to be, a full blooded vampire.

I can imagine so as well, the advantage of being the son of such a man. Will you not see him on the weekends at the very least to spend time with him?

Well yeah, but he's a teacher. We'll probably just have the evenings like we used to except I'll have more homework. At least it'll be magical homework.

No, Nikola is, an inventor. An engineer, his interests lie in the mechanical things of the world, most notably electricity.

And yes, but there is nothing wrong in that. A quiet evening doing work, can be just as meaningful as doing something exciting.

That's a Muggle invention. We don't use that. But it sounds cool.

Any time with Dad is fun. I love Potions and I love flying. They're my favourite things about being a wizard.

Hey! I know more than any other eleven year old than has stepped into the castle! I'm just not allowed outside it without Dad. But I know everything about the inside. The secret passages, rooms, hidden corners. I can even make the staircases move when I want them to.

The only places I haven't explored are the common rooms.
