Listen here, Mundane. We need to speak about your work habits. Going on your phone and texting your friends is not a valuable use of your time. You are not being paid to chat with your friends, you are being paid to do your job. Now, I will write out a schedule for you to ensure that you are using company time as best as possible.

There's no excuse. You could have found other tasks that were needed to be completed. As I mentioned, I will be keeping a close watch on you to make sure you won't slack off in the future.

In that case, you may have your work cut out for you. After all, if you're to be sure her time is spent productively, you'll have to get her to listen.

It's quite a project I've decided to pick up, but I think I'm capable of completing it. She listens if given the right incentive.

[Or just listens because Hubert is up here in her headspace with a ruler, ready to smack her hand whenever she tries to pick up her phone to check for messages.]

Yes, it is. The next step would be to actually get her to follow it. I have a feeling that it will be one that will take a long time before she actually would. That girl has a mind that wanders a mile a minute, making it difficult for her to stay on task at times.

Perhaps there is a way to actually make her focus.

You could work on a system of rewards and punishment.

I have thought about that, but what rewards and punishments would work? If I could get her other inhabitants in here to cooperate, perhaps we could use this realm of RP itself as both her reward and punishment.

The only problem is, she doesn't do this roleplay at work. I suppose that is one good quality about her.

[Because Mun isn't even allowed to go on sites like these at work. -.-;]

Limiting her access to her phone may be a good start.

Perhaps a stern lecture whenever she misbehaves. Even if we cannot affect much corporeally, our voices can be heard. Couple that with a refusal to do her bidding or speak to her when she wishes it, and she might listen.

Though of course good behavior should be equally rewarded.

That may just work. She did listen that day I kept disciplining her for her actions. If I continue that, there should be results. However, I do fear that she may simply block out my voice after some time. Yet she also does call for me when she wishes for me to speak.

[Now how to use those two for his advantage...]

She does get upset if her other inhabitants here refuse to speak, so perhaps I should simply refuse to speak as well on days she misbehaves.

If you can gain the agreement of the others, then you have your system worked out, correct?

Theoretically, yes.

Why not give it a try and see if it works? You can always adjust it if needed. Adaptation is also a sign of a good commander.
