I have to. I'm in a very male-dominated field and they would find any excuse to throw me to the wolves. Again for that matter.

Someone disagreed with something I did while I was Prime Minister and ignoring all the good that I had done ran me out of office.

All good Lea. I'm quite good at remembering names.

Good to hear. And my mun tells me that yours seems to be pretty memorable too, at least back where you're from.

Yes, I was rather well known and successful as Prime Minister which is something I'm incredibly proud of to this day.

Where I'm from mostly has Kings and Queens on various worlds. They tend to run the gamut between being awesome people and being total jerks, though so it's kind of luck of the draw what you end up with.

The one from Radiant Garden- the world where I was born- was alright for the most part. Just... got a little too curious about some things he probably should have left alone, which ended up screwing over a lot of people, directly and indirectly.

That honestly sounds like most politicians on my world. Probably all people of power when it comes down to it.

I'm sorry that you had to go through such a situation though. I do hope it is righted?

Heh, maybe.

And yeah, mostly. There's still one big thing we need to take care of before we can really say everything's been settled, but he and a lot of other people- including me- are working on it. He definitely learned his lesson though, and is doing his best to try and make up for everything that happened.

Ì have been well. I kept myself busy since I finished my term as Prime Minister. It was nice to have time with friends but I found it was hard to keep my mind active at times. How have you been?

Oh you know, same ol', same ol'. World's always dying somewhere, in some time, in some universe or another timeline. Or dimension.

[harrietjones]

I think when the Doctor is involved it is unlikely that the world isn't dying.

That is true but unfortunately, my Mun needs to do the best that she can.

That is true. My name is Harriet Jones, Former Prime Minister of England. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, learning new things and challenging myself to grow as a person. I look to make the world a better place for everyone and will not back down in the face of danger. I strongly believe we need to stand together to be the best that we can.

England is Earth that Was. You were a person of importance there, I take it? Our important people tend to be called things like Councilor, depending on the planet.

[There's a small smile and a slight, but not cruel laugh at the way Harriet Jones, Former Prime Minister introduces herself.] You sound like one of Inara's client videos.

Earth that was? But yes it is on Earth. I suppose I was a person of importance though I didn't set out to be.

What does Inara do?

Then we are from quite different times. Earth was used up seven hundred years before I was born.

Inara is a professional companion. Do you have those, on Earth That Was?

[harrietjones]

We are heading towards that unfortunately but I hope we can avert it.

If it is what I am thinking of we call them escorts.

They are tired. They are always tired but they do not want to be eaten even if they struggle at times.

I've heard about the game you're going into. Aren't you scared?

Maybe another time.

Somewhat but you shouldn't let fear dictate your life.

That's incredible... To just... do things and not be afraid... [could he do that? he wasn't sure] That's hard.

It takes the knowledge that things will improve and that you won't forever be stuck in a situation. A certain amount of fear is normal but you should never let it dictate your life.
