He misses Faith's song, Jacob's strength, and John's devotion. Now all he has is angry stragglers and an emotional, entitled boy-who-would-be-king.

His connection seems broken, but on the other hand, it turned out Joseph was right about everything, and that's a source of strength, in a warped way.
