Ich liebe dich~ Is it real, or is it a joke? I'll leave it up to you to decide...
...or so that's what I'd normally say.
You're an awful curious type, pulling me out of your dock for this. I barely even smile, and you know this from the few months we've spent together, so I must ask... warum, kleiner Junge? Do you do things on a whim just as much as I do? Or are you trying to get some kind of reaction out of me...? Or is it perhaps both?
...well, whatever the end goal may be, Junge, I'd hope you'd at least make it worth a laugh or two.

Are people who speak our tongue really so endangered here? How troubling.
On the contrary, though, he seems eager to find them for me, if only because circumstances have put me side by side with them more often than not. Ein Segen oder ein Fluch -- I can hardly tell for sure.

I could never see myself fighting side by side with my enemies. They're ruthless tyrants.
no subject
That you call your enemies tyrants, though... care to elaborate on what makes them such?
no subject
My enemies kept me as a slave and forced me to fight for their benefit. I'm but one of many being oppressed by the aristocracy. They also murdered my brother.

I don't know about it being any of that, honestly. In my experience, this kind of thing ends up being a mixed bag. Sometimes their ideas are good, others...not so much. And sometimes it's very calculated, but again, not always.
The best I can say is that if you aren't accustomed to rolling with the punches, you should learn as quickly as you can.

Now that she thinks of it, though... wasn't this the same boy that Enterprise girl was, quote, 'being thrown at'?
Oh, this will be interesting indeed.]
I'd not worry too much for me, though, if I were you. If anything, you should probably be more worried about yourself... [She takes a few steps toward Athrun, and circles him.
...while tracing a finger along his shoulderblades.
Eugen, what are you doing?] Such a fine looking junger Mann probably shouldn't be going around without some... company.
[...oh. That's what she's doing.]

For now, it's all he can do to keep his cool. His body tenses up, leaving his muscles rigid. Only his eyes move as he finds himself a target for this enigmatic (yet admittedly very hot) girl.]
I should be...hang on. What are you getting at here?
[It's not that Athrun has no idea; quite the opposite. He just wants to make sure his hunch is correct rather than go off on an assumption.]
no subject
Oh, junge, you sweet summer child. Shouldn't it be obvious?
It's~ a~ part~ner~.
[Pointedly, she doesn't even follow that up with anything. There was something about watching people draw their own conclusions to what she was saying to them, but for the life of her, she couldn't place her finger on what.]
no subject
And are you volunteering yourself?
no subject
Do you want me to be your partner that badly?
[Eugen's smile is nothing short of teasing, and her continued dancing around her intents probably doesn't help.]
no subject
All...all I did was ask a question. Are you sure you're not, um, reading too much into it?
[He is by no means opposed to having a pretty girl hang out with him. However, she makes it sound like he was begging her.]
no subject
Am I? I couldn't tell you for sure. I do try to tell things as I see them. [For a certain definition of 'as she sees them', anyway.] I see a junge looking ready to die of embarrassment, I can't help but presume there's more than an inkling of need in those eyes of yours.
[Of what, though...]
no subject
A need of what kind, dare I ask?
[He's not aware of any needs he's feeling right now -- other than the need to stop feeling nervous.]

Either way, I doubt this flat reaction was one he had in mind, but it certainly did something.
no subject
And it's either part of the fun, or unwelcome developments. Just depends on what you're rolling the dice on.
no subject
They're just not everyone's Tasse Tee.
[They were hers, though. Few of the fleet can really take that from her.]
no subject
Ha.
[ That's it. That's the only thing Akagi said as she sneers out at her from distance. ]
no subject
[If that didn't say 'she could do this all day', then Akagi's probably got more than some ruffled fur this time.
And they're supposed to be on the same side of the war, too.]
