As much as you want me to, as much as I want to, I can't save Connor. I'm not a superhero like half of the people around here.

Yes, I know that I know what he's going through. And if I thought that would help, I would be the first person to rush to his side and help him. But for one, I don't know if he wants my help. I don't know if he still wants me.

And for two, why do you think I can save everybody? I'm just a race car driver. I have an engineering degree from Georgia Tech. If you want to play someone who saves the world, you need to get another muse.

I appreciate the sentiment, I do. But she keeps putting me in these situations where she thinks I'm going to make everything okay, and I can't.

Save someone I used to be engaged to. The guy I wanted to marry, his canon has turned him into a total jerk. But he hasn't been around here in months, and even if he was, it's not like I can change what someone else's canon does.
